You can tell the fittings are china grade, but for the price you can't complain. If they hold up for a bit, well worth it. I'll replace them later with something better.

If you're looking to use a HVLP gun that it is no higher than 8.5 cfm, this will certainly do the job. I paint electric guitars and this is probably the perfect size for that. It seems to keep up with my Sherpa Finex 1000 without any problem, that gun requires 7 cfm and in theory I could be pressing that trigger all day long and the compressor will keep up fine. The handle is plastic and it may not take a beating, if you're a contractor and you just need it for nail guns, there are tons of options out there, I think this compressor is meant for people who want an HVLP for smaller projects such as furniture, motorcycles or musical instruments. Unfortunately most manufacturers have dropped the CFMs of smaller compressor making this one one of the few available that will keep up with higher CFM demands at low PSI. I broke it in running it for 30 minutes with all the valves open, drained the oil that came in it and got some better quality synthetic oil from the Home Depot, it has been running flawlessly so far. I did not use the oil that came with it, there was some oil in the packaging, other than that mine came in one piece, the shipping box part that protects the plastic handle could be better, the handle could be much better but for the price I am not complaining, this thing has plenty of power.

A good price for this size of compressor. Only time will tell if it is a good quality prduct. I like that comes with two connectors. One is full pressure . The other is regulated. It is quieter than my old oilless compressor. It holds its pressure when it is turned off. The compressor oil had leaked out of the bottle and bag during shipping as other reviewers have stated. There was still enough oil to fill the compressor though. The plastic shroud was cracked on two side.. Not bad considering it came from all the way from China.

I buy a LOT of stuff from Amazon but rarely leave feedback unless an item turns out to be extremely good or, by the same token, extremely bad. Unfortunately, this one is a real stinker. I cranked it up and the noise level is MUCH higher than a similar item I recently purchased, even though the description offers a lower db noise level. And if the non-standard air fittings don't suit you, you're in for a real treat trying to change them. The manifold is made out of pot metal and a small adjustable wrench provides more than enough force to break it off. Still intent on keeping it? I bought almost enough hardware to completely replace the regulator air circuit and never did get the manifold out of the tank because just as I put my wrench on it, another piece broke off. SO, my advice to you is to steer clear of this turkey. I gave it one star because the option of zero stars is not offered.

This air compressor is much quieter than my old one. They both have 10-gallon tanks, but this one is fatter and shorter and takes up less floor space. It appears to be well made and is oil lubricated. I don't about the durability of oilless compressors. Also, they are noisy. This one has dual quick connects for two air hoses to be used at the same time. It also has dual pressure gauges. A very nice touch! I like it a lot!

Has a welded on handle for easy wheeling. Compact but a bit longer than our old one. Noise is typical for a compressor. Also had exact placement screws to place old compressors handle/bracket.(We used to place the curled up hose) Easy set up. Surprisingly there was a broken piece of plastic, (at screw of cover for motor ) but it was easily fixed with a washer and would’ve been fine to just leave the little broken piece off. I’m sure the company would’ve received and sent a new one but we just fixed. It came in a box with Styrofoam padding, so I don’t know how it got broken (weird)

Recently my 30 year old 20gal shop Air compressor motor died. It only had a 2hp oil less motor. It worked well for the using it on the weekends. However, when I retired and was using it almost everyday I realized it just couldn't provide the air that I needed to run my air tools as long as I needed without having to wait for it to build pressure. So, when it died it was a excuse to get a more powerful one. Being retired means I'm on a fixed income shoe string budget. So, I started looking for a replacement motor. I quickly found out that motors were expensive and almost as much as a whole new compressor. Then I started looking for portable compressors with a bigger motor than I was attempting to replace. I came across this compressor with the 3 1/2 HP motor with a price that I could afford. It arrived quickly with minimal exterior damage ( the plastic motor shroud was broken at the mounting bolts). After filling it with oil and turning it on it got to pressure rather quickly. However, it did not maintain pressure when left overnight. I found a air leak around the connection around the pipe that goes from the hose connections and the tank. I connected this compressor to my old compressor tank. This gives me a total of 30gal of air. The 3 1/2hp motor fills up the tanks quickly. And, it keeps up with my air needs and fits within my budget.
