I mounted it in the rear of my truck bed. I made a few extra braces and bolted them to the truck for easy removal if nessasary. Welded one tab on hoist to bolt brackets too. The first thing I loaded was a heavy wood stove. No problem for the cable winch. Used the hydraulic jack for just the last inch. Loaded a V-8 engine also. Great buy. Did fabricate a few brackets but it will lift a lot, so it was not a big deal. ... show more

No instruction for mounting Product. Took an hour to get it installed in my truck. Once in I lifted a 350# load. it bent the floor is the bed. I would not recommend this to anyone. If you do buy it make sure that one of the angle brackets in next to your frame so you can weld it solid. I am going to return it to Amazon. In my opinion it is nothing more than scrap iron. ... show more

Hook swedge prevents hook passing through boom end. had to grind opening wider. Othert than that all ok!!
