Planted 2 days after delivery. Nice big plump bulbs with long roots and all had at least a 1'' sprout. Was 1 short but I'm not complaining. This is the third time I have bought a type of lily bulb. The others were planted last year and I had beautiful blooms. They have already grown well this year. Different heights because of different types: oriental and asiatic. I intensely do not like being lied to. If you say you’re selling Stargazer lilies, they had better be Stargazer lilies. Instead of beautiful, fragrant, white flowers with deep pink stripes and speckles, I get orange colored, boring, scent-less, run of the mill, find on the side of the road flowers. Being a floral cultivator must be so difficult that you can’t keep stock separate. Shame. And out of 12 bulbs planted, only 3 of those look like they will even bloom… one of them looked diseased as soon as it bloomed and now it’s on the ground. I put pictures of what was sold vs. what real Stargazer lilies look like so the seller has a reference as to why my tone is such. Highly disappointed. Money AND time wasted. ... show more

    • Keep them away from deer!
Only reason for 4 starts is that I was expecting 12, but only received 10. I wasn't too disappointed about this however, as all 10 were in excellent shape and starting to sprout (or whatever the proper term is?). Albeit not at the ideal time of year (late June/early July), I planted them in a flower bed following the directions that were included. All 10 of them started growing quickly. Unfortunately, after a couple of weeks I woke up one morning to find that overnight a deer had devoured one of them all the way down to the bulb and ate just the tops of 4 others (along with munching some Hostas and completely "de-flowering" all of the daylilies I have in the same flower bed). The 5 remaining continued to grow to about a foot or so tall. As my luck would have it, just as the buds started to go from green to red, I woke up one morning to find that a deer had completely eaten the buds off of all 5. I've had daylilies and hostas in that same spot for years, but it's never been bothered by deer until I planted these. Perhaps these are particularly attractive to deer, or maybe it's just coincidence? TLDR - Consider planting them somewhere where deer won't have easy access. None the less, these bulbs were great. I will be moving them to a different spot in the Fall where they should hopefully be safer from deer. Would definitely order again. ... show more

Bulbs are very good quality. They all came up and bloomed. Large flowers however all of them white. White is very common color and I already had them from local store so I ordered those to have something more colorful. I am giving three stars for the quality of the Bulbs only. I am very disappointed though about not getting color I wanted. ... show more

Look at the bloom on it what’s not to like, a few bulbs didn’t bloom but the send a another pack and they are all thriving well, I put the rest outside in my garden. Can’t wait until they bloom

    • Bulbs grown in a bag?
The media could not be loaded. There was rot on almost all the bulbs. Not exactly what I expected. Most of the stems grown in and out of many holes in the bag. Had to surgically remove them. At first I was happy from what I saw then I saw the message it was. Hopefully they will grow and flourish. Will change my review after I see how they turn out. 1 bulb had the stem snap off and was calloused over. 1 had 0 growth and appeared to be dead. 1 bulb appeared to have growth but stunted. 4 of them had dried out rooted and rot on several peels. 3 seemed to have extreme arch in the stem where it seemed they needed to be planted almost upside down and 2 seemed to be wilted. ... show more
