This candle lives up to its name - True Rose. It's more of a pure rose scent rather than the Tyler Rose candle of years ago - now discontinued. Even after being in the same room with this candle burning for several hours it is still possible to catch a whiff of rose fragrance. First, I want to give kudos to the company that sells this candle. Mine arrived broken, but they have amazing customer service and got me a replacement in a short time. Very impressed! When burning, the room will smell like a rose garden. The scent is authentic and lovely. The only downside is that the scent is so real, that after the candle burns there will be a bit of stale roses scent left behind. It’s like when you leave an arrangement out too long and they begin to wilt. Still, light the candle again and you’re back in the garden. I enjoy this candle immensely. ... show more

I honestly don't have any complaints against the candle per se. It arrived quickly and very well packaged. Right out the packaging I didn't like the smell. I consider myself an expert when it comes to how stargazer lilies smell. I grow them in the summer and out of season buy them at the florist for the past 25 years. This is my favorite flowers, so I am very familiar with the distinct smell and this isn't it or any where close to it! I should have return, but for some odd reason I thought maybe the smell would change when burning and I don't know why, because it didn't but that same smell only stronger. The candle is long burning and burns evenly actually every thing I want in a candle except that smell. Needless to say I am very disappointed because it is on the pricey side. I purchased after reading the reviews although the reviews were for other fragrances than what I purchased. I also purchased the wax melts in the same fragrance still the same strong smell. I blame myself, knowing that I am very particular about fragrances and from past experiences I should always smell any type of fragrances before I buy. I'm highly disappointed and now afraid to try any of the other candles unless I can smell first. ... show more
