I’ve had the Magic Scent diffuser for 11mo now and it’s working like a charm. I LOVE this machine. I live in pre-WW2 bldg in NYC and I do not have an HVAC system, so the unit is free standing. The machine covers my 2bdr 1100sqft apt effortlessly!!! There is a small amount of leakage, but it’s within the unit and very minimal. The sound is pretty quiet. My refrigerator is louder than the Magic Scent diffuser. I have a dog and this device completely eliminates dog odor. Coming home to a wonderful smelling home is amazing. I highly recommend this device and company. You won’t be disappointed!!

We recently moved into a new home and unfortunately it had some unpleasant smells, we quickly looked for a diffuser and settled on this. So glad we did, it’s already made a massive difference. We haven’t hooked it up to the HVAC, just had it in the upstairs living room and we smell it through most of our home. It’s not too large and barely notice the noise at all. I think for the price it’s a nice quality diffuser.

Stopped working within 5 months. Put in new scent, works for a few days, then clogs up and leaks out inside the machine. Contacted The Magic Scent and they said they would repair it for free but I have to pay the shipping. When I said I don't want to have to pay shipping every 5-6 month to get this thing repaired. Their response was "It may happen, it may not. Every machine is different." So I guess their build quality and quality control is not. They did act like clogs are common and said to use rubbing alcohol to clean out the tubes, and that there is a mesh filter within the top that can clog, so may be best to just take a paper clip and break the filter open. Then said to run rubbing alcohol in the bottle for 10-20 min. Sounds like a known problem and design flaws.

This scent diffuser is well worth the money! I bought it for my 2000k sq foot salon, with intentions to hook up to the hvac system, and I haven’t had the need to do so! The machine covers the whole salon. Came to purchase another for my home, but not available right now.

UPDATE: I reset the settings for it to release at a different rate (1 min release, 6 min pause) and also attached to our hvac and it’s awesome! Releases the smell throughout the house through the vents and it’s been about 3 weeks now and the smell is still going strong! Really like it. Just wish the scent weren’t so expensive. I’ll probably buy those somewhere else cheaper. FIRST REVIEW: This things works pretty good. I unfortunately can’t hook it to my hvac cause it’s in an awkward spot up in my attic. My only complaint is how fast the oil went. I set the device to the suggested settings which I did feel was a bit much. I’m going to set it differently and buy more scent oil and see if it last longer.
