I have absolutely no idea why melatonin is in this spray. It doesnt work like that. But as to the chamomile and lavender, lovely idea. It's light, and the scent will fade but it is a lovely way to climb in bed and unwind. I find it calming and comforting. Just a light mist before bed and it will last for a while. Dont use too much!
