  • Love it.
My black stone is slightly too big for the pizza oven. I have to put aluminum foil on the one side to keep heat in. I flip food around 1/2 way through because I keep burning stuff in the back. But I love it & pizza.

  • Love our pizza grill!
Color: Grey Black
Gets super hot and cooks a pizza in about 5 minutes! Saving us a bunch of money on takeout and gets the kids outside with us. Takes a while to beat up, but once it does, I’d say it’s easier than an Ooni! Planning on buying a second one for my parents.

  • Super awesome addition to my grill
Color: Grey Black
What a cool item to have for the grill! We have only used it twice so far so we are still working out the kinks on it. But so far we definitely LOVE IT!! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that LOVES PIZZA &/OR LOVES TO GRILL!

  • Once you figure it out, it works great
Like everyone else, my infrared thermometer is missing. I already have several, but that's why it lost a star. So, you may burn your first pizza. Remember, this thing cooks a pizza very, very quickly. I mean a pizza that is completely uncooked, not a frozen pizza. Remember to use a bunch of cornmeal on stone so your pizza doesn't stick. Also you do need to spin the pizza around, or it'll burn. This definitely is huge and heavy. I ultimately plan to add it to the outdoor kitchen that I hopefully finish before I'm 100, but right now we've been having pole barn pizza. I set this up on a concrete table in the pole barn and we've all been trying it out. I am pretty good at it by this point, but I'm easily the best cook in my family. My cousin tried to burn my pole barn down by putting a pizza in there, and then wandering away. She made a blackened circle of sadness. My kids discovered that it's better to just toss a frozen pizza in the oven or the air fryer than this thing. It's really not for that. It's way too hot. I guess you could do it by turning it down, but it seems a little odd to go through all the preheating and everything with this just to heat a frozen pizza. If you keep a very close eye on it, and if you spin it every 30 seconds like it says, and if you get enough cornmeal on the stone, you can make some rather nice pizza with the kind of crispiness that you usually only find at a pizza place. Just remember that this thing is big and weighs nearly 50 pounds. You need a place to put it. ... show more

  • A Learning Curve
I cannot even fully express the excitement I felt when I saw this pizza oven. It wasn't the huge hulking and daunting brick oven or even a wood one. It was an electric oven that reached super high temps and would make a lovely pizza. I know I can ramble on so I'm going to get right to it. Pros: ■ Indoor/ Outdoor pizza oven - I would suggest using this oven outdoors first. My niece made a pizza and I put it in the pizza oven on my counter. There wasn't enough meal on my pizza spatula so some of the cheese shook off onto the pizza stone. Instant smoking. The smoke filled up my kitchen and dining area quickly. ■Pizza Paddle/Spatula- great handle that is comfortable in hand. I love being able to fold them up and put it away. There is also a leather loop to hang it so desired. ■Oven Size - can fit on a counter and doesn't take up too astronomical of a space. ■ Heats all the way up in 20 minutes- although the infrared thermometer was missing from my set. That's a bit disappointing for those who don't have one - which I don't. So I've had to get a Star Patio one that comes as a pizza oven accessory kit. You HAVE to have one because if you don't, the stone might be waaay too hot to place your dough and it will instantly burn rather than cook and crust well. ■ I like that the door is removable. I noticed more smoking when the door is in the oven than when it's off. ■Coordination: Have poor coordination but love pizza? Welcome to a hands on training. Navigating your slice into the oven SEEMS easy, but man can it be misleading. The ovens opening has enough space, you've just got to calculate how to get it in there smoothly. I've lost cheese on the top, burned pizza that landed on the sides (my nieces oblong pizza) and jacked up the pizza stone with an excess of flour and cheese. ■ Always have food to eat. Pizza is a simple solution to thise who may be living pay check to pay check. Simple flour, water, yeast, and other optional items go into making dough. Tomato sauce, cheese, and other toppings can be fairly priced and added. Yes, the pizza oven IS an investment... but because it is electric you can take it and use it pretty much anywhere. Cons: ■Infrared Thermometer is not included though it was advertised that it was. This makes having exact temp measurements hard and may cause you to burn or undercooked your pizza. ■If you've a tiny kitchen with scant counter space, this might be a difficult way to bake a pizza. Having a space outdoor to do so would solve this issue. ■ The baking stone can suck to have to clean. The last bake had excessive flour on the stone to prevent sticking and whew! I hated that clean up with a passion! ■It's also kind of difficult to get into the pizza oven to truly clean it... like I like too. It's basically a cloth clean up into tiny or narrow grooves and hoping you've cleaned all of the pizza dust out of it. All in all, this is an amazing find and a great way to feed yourself and your family some fantastic homemade pizza. ... show more

  • Big Sturdy Pizza Oven (no timer)
The media could not be loaded. This is definitely a very nice pizza oven... capable of cooking pizzas all night and storing energy nicely, the way it's built into something of a "heat cave"... Warm-up time for the over and its cooking stone is about 20-25 minutes, which, if you're cooking only a single pizza, is a lot of wasted energy, since the pizza itself will then cook in well under five minutes, once the oven is up to ~ 600 degrees. But, the cool thing is you can cook other things besides pizzas in there, too. We've cooked SALMON, NACHOS, EGGPLANT, CHICKEN and more in addition to pizzas. So once you have it heated up for the pizza, don't waste the heat! As I mentioned in the title... one thing I do wish this oven had is a TIMER, so that I could set it to go off after 30 mins or something... but no dice. it has no timer function at all. You could always add a large-wattage timer switch, but just beware that this is a 1500 W oven, so you wouldn't want to just use any timer outlet on it... would need to support at LEAST 1500 watts. The other note I'd have about this oven was that the description says it ships with a cordierite stone; a door baffle; a pizza peel (aka shovel); an infrared thermometer. But ours arrived here without the thermometer at all. Everything else was in the box, but no thermometer. That was a bit of a disappointment, so we had to go acquire a different one to follow along with the instructions and pre-heat up to 600 degrees, etc. Great oven, tho, I'm deducting one star for A) its lack of a delay/timer off; B) its missing thermometer. ... show more
