This appears to be some light soap and maybe citric acid with a mr clean eraser so be VERY light and let the stuff soak. I have to give credit when its due. This stuff worked. I have a large, vinyl liner inground pool. The water line and above was just dingy. Sprayed this on, waited 30 seconds and scrubbed. It worked immediately. Thanks to the inventor. Made it look new.

This is not a calcium deposit remover for the tiles. For calcium build-up, use an acid product. But this waterline cleaner worked very well on the scum line. It also disolved the iguana poop stains from my marble patio pavers on my pool deck (usually I need a bleach cleaner). I used nearly the entire bottle before noon cleaning random things besides my pool and it genuinely worked on everything I tried. The scum on the old pool ledge chairs, my ceramic and resin planters, plastic "wicker" furniture, the Rubbermaid plastic garden shed, the black stripes on my white aluminum gutters that nothing else removes, and even the soap scum ring in the bathtub. ... show more

    • Use in a pool but don't get in contact with skin???
I was a little put off when reading the directions and the warning label. If it comes in contact with skin...this is supposed to be used in a pool...where human skin will be. Heck, I was in the pool while using it. Did it clean the vinyl liner? Yes, though still a bit disconcerting when I'm basically adding this bottle of chemicals into my pool water. But kept the filter running and check the water quality and haven't had any issues. But also not sure if it's necessary as we have a robot scrubber that gets up to the top of the walls and we hadn't noticed any issues prior to using this but saw similar items recommended on a pool maintenance video so thought I would give it a try. If you do buy this, know that it comes with a scrubber. I didn't realize that and might have missed it in the product description so I bought scrubbers separately. Easy to use, functional, but not sure if it's worth it for the money. ... show more

It did not work for my waterline tile I even used a scrub brush with it and did not noice a difference. Don’t waste your time!

    • Decent cleaner
I had some pool pillows that needed cleaning so I got this hoping that it would do a good job cleaning stains. While it did do an effective job cleaning the surface using a scub brush, this solution does not deep clean into the pores of plastic. This product did not remove my stains. I saw no difference in performance than using a spray bottle cleaner such as 409 or Fantastic which are much cheaper. After I got this, in reading the label, I am concerned about knowing the chemical makeup of the cleaner ingredients and allowing them in my pool water. Yes, at a dilution rate of 20,000 gallons of pool water to a bottle of this may be okay, I just question the safety of the ingredients to eyes and skin when used in a pool. I will just scrub my liner with a bristle brush since there is no real description of what the ingredients are. ... show more

    • Great spot cleaner for vinyl liner
This cleaner is terrific ! We have a vinyl FITMAX pool in my basement. I use my pool 4 times per week and it is heated. There were dark spots forming on the upper part of the liner. I bought this cleaner after reviewing and it works great 👍. The price is great as well.

It removed most smudges from suntan lotion, etc. but failed to remove the dark stains build up.
