The mid-sized pot in this set...It is the *cutest* little guy. If you've ever squeeee'd at like a little kid, wearing their dad's tie & saying they're "going to work" or similar...EXACT same vibe. Lil quarter-sized Dutch oven guy, wearing his little lid-hat, acting like he's going to do big Dutch oven work...I. CAN. NOT. I wanna get a bunch of baby veg & do a whole photo shoot of him making a lil veggie stock, but I honestly don't know if my shriveled heart can tolerate it. 😍 😂 I think there were some other things in the box as well, they're probably fine. (JOKES!) If I'm being 100% honest, they're actually all a tiiiiiiiiiiiiiny bit more lightweight in the bottom area than I usually prefer, but not *bad*, at all. I just learned the benefits of heavy-bottomed cook wear very early on in my adulting journey from a friend who was a chef, so I can be a bit picky. But like I said, these aren't BAD, & I've definitely owned much, MUCH worse. You just have to be more mindful, pay super close attn to anything that might tend to stick or scorch. I can't not give the full 5 stars tho, & not just for the utterly ridiculous level of joy that mid-sized pot brings me & my imagination lol - the pans themselves look great, the lids fit properly & they do all the things they're supposed to. I find it difficult when an item meets all its marks but there's simply something that doesn't meet MY personal marks for some reason to hold that against them. As I seem to bring up at least once a week, half stars would go a LONG way toward alleviating this plight!

I definitely needed new pots especially ones that look nice and clean well. All three pots have lids which is also great to prevent spills and splattering. They look great and these would be terrific if they were more heavy-duty. Unfortunately, they feel lightweight. From my previous experience with stainless steel cookery, it needs special treatment. The pots need to be heated and oiled properly so that you don't end up with food sticking to them. That's easy enough, but they are thin and that makes it harder to clean. Certainly, I can boil eggs and heat soup, but putting together a long-cooking spaghetti sauce just makes me think of the mess I will have to clean. You must also be careful to clean not only the inside but the outside of the pot, spotlessly. Anything you miss, including grease that you cannot necessarily see, will become burned and begin to yellow the outside of your shiny cookware. I would recommend them for camping, but they are a bit too heavy. For large meals, they're a little too light. They are somewhere in between and I suppose that means it's intended for basic cooking needs. Because I can't do the cooking I was expecting I'd be doing with these pots, I don't think they're a great value. They need to be heavier quality or much less expensive.

These are perfection for our induction oven! Great price, easy to clean (made pancakes this morning and was concerned they might stick but did great with some oil spray. Heats quickly and all over evenly, lighter weight and seem like they will last!
