I’ve only had it a few weeks but it’s working great so far. I tried the Sandisk Extreme portable SSD 2TB first and hated it. This is much faster and super easy to use with my phone and iPad. I’ve been using it to back up my business files and photos, so there’s a ton of small items. I have noticed that it gets glitchy after there are about 10k items in any given folder. I’m not super tech savvy, so this may be common sense, but as long as I switch to a new folder as it approaches 10k items, it’s been working perfectly. And I cannot stress enough how fast the transfer speed is. I’m pretty impressed.

This is the first time I used a hard drive with my smartphone. Installation was easy, I simply contacted the USB-C cable that the hard drive comes with to my phone and my phone couse see it immediately. I was able to easily move files from my phone to the hard drive. It transfered the files pretty quick. I had no data loss and am happy with the drive. It makes no noise. I did not need to format the drive, however it can be easily formatted to fat32 or NTFS and other formats as well. I feel it was affordable and delivered in reasonable time period.
