I use this on my stern drive boat to run the boat out of the water. It works great. It has an adapter if you choose to clamp a hose to it, or you can just thread the garden hose on it. The cups can be used horizontally or vertically depending on your port configuration. My old one only supplied water to one side. I trust that this one will provide sufficient water to keep the engine from overheating since water is fed to both sides. I'd say it's worth the price. ... show more

The hose attaching end is not firmly attached and comes off easily. Slide it back on and it continues to function correctly. Not a show stopper, but a little aggravating. Works OK for its intended purpose. I have mixed feelings on recommending because of the hose attachment piece coming off, but other than that it works as intended for flushing a motor. ... show more

Replaced a water pump kit on my 2015 Yamaha F150 outboard, this worked well for the test run. The rectangle shaped cups fit well over the water intake ports. Seal was good, not 100% but I've never seen a set of these completely seal, more than enough water in to run the engine. Seem to be built well, and shipped quickly. would recommend ... show more

I have a Honda 40HP outboard. The round ear muffs did not cover the rectangular water intake well. This one with the rectangular ear muffs covers the intake perfectley and with stron suction. Very satisfied.

Did not work with any of my outboards. leaked so bad not much water got in engines. Suction cups did not hold shape at all. Dont risk overheating your motor cause it will.
