This came quicker than expected. It is a little more on the expensive side; I ended up finding one at At Home for half the cost. I will not return it, because I like it a lot for my outdoor project I am working on. I have not used it with the logs yet, so hopefully it will project a good radius of heat (the reasoning for me buying it). The shipping and packaging was nice; However, one corner was scratched - I will most likely just color it in with sharpie - no one should notice. The estimated time it took me to put it together was about 15 minutes with a couple interruptions. I did not look at the directions, because the directions were not well descripted. I just looked at the box and pieces and for me it was common sense on how to put it together. When you remove the smaller boxes, be careful, that's where the cement pieces are at, so they could easily break. Mine did not. They gave me one extra long piece and one smaller corner piece. That was actually a plus for me. Everything seems sturdy, the real test will be the fire logs in there and to see if the mesh grate will keep the sparks from flying. One other plus is that it has versatility to be used as a small ice box on summer days (it would be small, but you could put a bottle of champagne and orange juice on it for a fun morning conversation).
