My 6 yr old son wanted Night Vision goggles for Christmas. We looked around at a few different kinds and in the end purchased these. The fact that a 6 yr old doesn't need expensive night vision goggles made these the perfect pair because of the price. To him these are the best night vision goggles ever. To me as a gadget loving father they were OK. ( I may have had super high expectations and made him let me wear them first) Pros: The light is super bright and makes everywhere you look in the dark light up. The lenses give the lit up light a different look then you would get just using a flashlight. They have really good battery life. The fold out optics look cool ( see cons ) Cons: The fold out magnifying optics are kind of hard for a 6 yr old to get lined up. I used them and it does magnify but it is not that easy to see out of.

The goggles aren't necessarily night vision goggles. They are really a goggle flashlight. If you have a high hope of them being the real deal you will be disappointed. But they are fun and exciting for a 10 year old kid. When you are in the dark you can see the person with the goggles on because of the light that's coming out of them to make them able to see in the dark. So there is no real hiding and spying because of this. The light will give you away. The little yellow lens part helps magnify what you are looking at far away, brings it in closer.

Bought as a Christmas gift. Very easy to assemble and easy to red directions. The glasses look very cool. They have been thrown and stepped on so I'd say that they are very durable.. they are very comfortable and don't leave a mark on his face. They aren't heavy on his face so they don't slid down. Great buy

These are much better quality than the others that look exactly the same. Ordered a few and compared and these by far are the best which is why they are slightly pricier, but worth it. Happy 6 year old!

This was supposed to be a birthday gift for my nephew. The brand advertised is Spy X which is made very well and actually works. However, they sent me another brand ( SpyGear) that is cheaply made and does not work. It took several weeks of back and forth messages to get my money refunded. We needed the money to get the correct toy for my nephew. Our nephew wound up getting his birthday present late and was disappointed at his party. Two stars because we did finally get our refund but it took way to long and was a hassle.
