The worse battery life if you use outside & hiden, not possible to plug in with super short wiring power cable. The battery only last less than 2.5 hrs. And impossible to view the video on phone when you away from home. So definitely unable for surveillance use!

This is a pretty cool little GPS tracker for the price! I'm impressed at the details it provides when active. It's a small smooth device about 2" tall that you can slip into anything really, and comes with its own special charger When I received it I had to download the Hapn app and then pay a subscription price to start using it. They had different options a 1 month, 3 month, 1 year and 3 year plan. I wasn't sure how I would like it so I opted for the one month plan for $29.95. The subscriptions go as low as $14.95 a month for a 3 year plan but here's the problem I have with those plans. Money is tight for a lot of people and at $14.95 a month, well that's a great price, but you have to pay the whole 3 years up front. There is no options to make any kind of payments throughout the 3 years and the up front fee for 3 years is $583.20, or $275.40 for 1 year. I just don't have money like that just sitting around to put out all at once so I hope they figure something out there because that would most likely be a problem for me to continue to use this device. So, I downloaded the app, paid for my 1 month, charged it a little even though it came already charged and sent it out for a test run. My brother was going to run errands so I slipped it in the truck before he left. I was really surprised at the information it provided. It would show on the map where and what road the truck was on at any given moment and whether it stopped on the road for a second or longer than that at a store. It would provide the address and length of the stop . You could watch live or view the trip and destinations later on the history section in trip or timeline. You can also set up a geo fencing where if the tracker goes out of the predefined boundaries it will alert you . That's great to keep your eyes on the kids whereabouts. It also says it has a 34 day battery life so I'll be checking on that as the days go by. So, this is a great little tracker and I recommend it but personally I'm not happy with the subscription prices, but that's up to you!

I'm really disappointed with this device. I have not had good luck with it at all. I need a GPS device for my special needs child because he is nonverbal and tries to leave safe places alone. It's just good to have for emergencies. However, when he is at school it shows him several blocks away in a neighborhood. So if he were to leave school undetected I would not even be alerted and even if I were I wouldn't know where to find him because it's just not accurate. If this is for something less valuable than a child it might be okay but for runners like my kiddo I need pinpoint accuracy in real time and I'm disappointed that this device didn't do the trick. One thing that I do like is the style of map on the app that goes with it. It's incredibly detailed and I was excited about using it. I also like to that it was small and fit very easily in a pocket. The charger is a little different because most trackers are charged with USB c chords these days. This one is a magnetic charger situation. Even though it is a pain to have a specialized charger it means that there aren't big holes in the device so it's less likely to get damaged if it gets wet.
