So I needed it for a nanny cam. And it worked for about 4 hrs then keep going offline. I tried it in different parts of the house and no good. But when my phone is by it. It stays online. I thought I had a winner. But you get what you pay for. I’m asking for a full refund. I’ll just spend the money for a good small nanny cam. Don’t waste your time. It is very compact and well built. The setup is a little cumbersome wherein I have to install a UBox app on my phone to fully configure the device. The user manual was helpful in completing the process and I was up and running with minor issues as I was trying to limit the app access - I feel that it asks too much permission than what it really needs. All I want to do is to configure the camera; but the app asks for email sign up, location, wifi settings, notification, etc. It also offers cloud service from $1.99/30 days/7-day recording cycle up to $39.99/360 days/30-day recording cycle - but I just opted to use the included microSD card for saving the recordings. The phone app is then used to download the videos - no need to remove the memory card and save on your PC/Mac. I’m currently using this camera inside my vehicle with a velcro tape mounted in an inconspicuous spot and I only turn it on when I’m parked. I also have it on Low sensitivity and lower video quality to extend the battery and microSD card capacity. So far it is working fine and I can easily download the videos directly on my phone. The magnetic stand is a welcome addition, it can be permanently/temporarily mounted with the included screws/adhesive backing. I charge the unit using the included USB-A/USB-C cable, although the USB-A/AC adapter is not included, I was able to use a USB port on my surge suppressor. ... show more
