(Good work out) Very sturdy. (Will not wobble once you put the sand in it.) Con: Had to purchase 15 lb separately. I recommend this product because it can help drain some of your kid energy. Sometimes they have so much energy at home. My 3 year old and 7 year old both like to play with it. Every time they walked pass it, the both of my kid will punch it. It’s very fun when they have nothing to do at home. I bought the 15lb of sand from Home Depot. I would not suggest filling it with water because if you spilled or it starts leaking, you might have to clean up all the water with a cloth.     • The twins like this and it should last about as long as expected for the money.
My 9yo twin great-nephews assembled this themselves and are happy. The first impression they had was that the gloves were cheaper than their other bag gloves, but i feel like we got a fair deal. Recommended.

    • My grandson loves it!
My grandson loves to box. He always says, "Papa, let me show you how hard I can punch, hold out your hand." Well, his punches are starting to hurt, as he is nearly nine! So here comes the Springflower Big Punching Bag to the rescue. The kit is better than I thought it would be, but you're not going to put this in a gym, either. The gloves are just suitable for kids and soft enough that if they get bored hitting the bag and start boxing each other, there shouldn't be any teeth missing! The set is easy to assemble and took about 5-10 minutes, plus another 10 minutes to put in the sand. Incidentally, don't use water for two reasons: sand is heavier, and if a leak develops, you don't want a couple of gallons of water spilling out on your floor. Also included is an air pump to inflate the bag, all tools needed for assembly, and an instruction manual. The stand easily and quickly adjusts and has about 16 inches of travel. A spring at the base of the pole allows it to move back and forth when hit, so the base stays still. There is a warning about not letting older kids and adults hit this hard. It is very important that this warning is heeded for obvious reasons. One other observation: The instructions show adding 15 lbs of water or 15 lbs of sand. Since sand is heavier than water, it appears there is a limit of 15 pounds in the base. So please keep in mind that when filling the base, i.e., the base full of sand will be heavier than the base full of water. In summary, here's what I like: *Well made *Fast and easy assembly *The pole height can be adjusted up to 16 inches *The gloves are soft *Tools for assembly are included *Air pump and needle for the bag are included *Two sets of boxing gloves *Strong spring at the base of the pole Here's what I didn't care for: *I wish there was an additional larger opening in the base for filling with sand In conclusion: This is well-made, provides entertainment and exercise for our children, and provides an alternative to video games.     • Fun for little kids
This was very easy to assemble. The instructions/picture was very clear. For the base we decided to fill with water. I have a 7 year old and a 9 year old. Both have had a blast with it. One note is even though the base of fully filled with water my 9 year old can hit the bag hard enough it tilts the base. Maybe sand would hold better? The spring on the post has started squeaking when moving which can be annoying. Once you have the height you want for the post make sure you I hand tighten it well, otherwise it will start falling down during use. ... show more

I purchased this for my grandsons for Christmas and I feel so bad because they couldn’t inflate it and it came with a tear on the side of the punching bag. I can’t even return it because they threw away the box it came in, it was a waste of my money so sad
