For the price you can’t beat this. I have a 8” Dobson telescope and can tell you that this spotting scope has high resolution. So far I am very impressed with this scope. I haven’t had the chance to use it at the range yet or for astronomical viewing. I know it’s not for astronomy but it should work well for viewing the moon and the some planets. I also plan to use it for viewing the sun (WITH A SUN FILTER, DO NOT LOOK AT THE SUN WITHOUT A PROPER FILTER) for the sun flares and sun spots. ... show more

It comes with a usable case, phone adapter and small tripod. The phone adapter does not fit the scope, while the tripod is rather light weight for my use. The scope itself is nicely finished. . Just inches however.his scope is bright. clear and stable. I'm impressed for the cost. Lets see how it performs over time.Love the spotting scope. I used it to observe the moon. The clarity was sub par at all magnifications. Blurry images even at 25 yards and only gets worse from there. Not sure if I received a defective scope but I’m returning this one.

The telescope works very well, and is very easy to carry around with me to whever I want to go. I will note however that depending on what you're looking at and it's background, it can be a bit bright, for instance, and I used it to get a better quality photo of the moon (not it's intended purpose, but it did the job well), it was very bright and was hard to stare at the moon through the telescope for more than a few seconds at a time. But other than the brightness, it's a very good quality telescope, and it seems to be durable, surviving quite a few drops without major damage, and it's very easy and intuitive to adjust ... show more
