After working from home for 2+ yrs now I needed something to help me get back in shape and relieve some of the daily aggravation from work. After months of researching, I took a shot at this product and am very glad I did. Straight forward to put together if you take your time. My only observation is that I could not get the maximum amt of sand that is advertised..I was only able to squeeze in about 180 lbs of playground sand. Luckily - no matter - it is more than enough for your average person 6' who is looking to get in shape. If you are in tip-top shape and a regular gym rat, this bag may not be for you. However, for the majority of us out of shape WFH types, this bag more than fits the bill. I use this bag a few times a week and it can take a good series of full-on punches with minimal movement of the base. A suction cup or two will come loose but the bag is in no sense going to tip over. I do not know how stable it would be without using the suction cups though. I use it with gloves and without. It takes a little conditioning to use it without gloves, but either way - 15 minutes on this thing gives me a heck of a cardio workout. Great product that is holding up well so far. The 4 stars on durability is only because I have not had it long enough to judge its longevity - but it is built well. I would buy it again without hesitation.

I recently purchased the SportVelt punching bag and I am extremely impressed with its quality and performance. The bag is well made and sturdy, able to withstand even the toughest punches and kicks. The filling is just the right density for an effective workout and the bag itself is well balanced, allowing for a natural swing and rebound. The included hanging chains and hardware make it easy to set up and use. I highly recommend this punching bag to anyone looking for a reliable and effective way to train and improve their skills. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely buy from SportVelt again.

Cons= There were absolutely NO Bolts to put this together it takes 15 bolts a certain size also did not come with 2different kinds of washers to go with the bolts!! How do they expect customers to put together without hardware?? You’ll have to buy all that which is messed up! You shouldn’t have to do that I’ve never bought anything off Amazon or a store that didn’t come with the hardware Note*~~The Base comes first in Seperate box..The freestanding bag comes in Seperate box 4-5 days later!! Don’t expect both to come together & comes by UPS.. Pros- the bag is well made material/stitching wise Saves so much more room than a hanging bag..the base I recommend Dry sand from hardware store & I got 3/50Lbs bags that was plenty base is very sturdy I put a cut out square board under base makes it even sturdier! I would recommend this it’s put together bag/base wise for punching/kickboxing etc..takes very hard hits well I definitely hit hard so no problems Just remember you buy all hardware & install & the sand & comes 4-5 days Separately in all it took 7 days to receive it all…THE SELLER should Really provide the bolts/washers that part is not good for buisness or the customers because I saw other freestanding ones on Amazon that had the hardware….

The actual bag is 1/3 the size of the intentionally displayed advertising pics on the page. This is deceptive marketing and is an obvious intentional choice because if they displayed the real size less people would purchase. The bag is of ok quality but after a few sessions the top stitching is already showing signs of stress. The suction cups are mediocre quality. Even with water inside the bag can be launched with an accurate kick or punch.

I thought it was going to be bigger than what it is. After 5.5 bags of sand and some water, it still moves when you punch it. Does it's job and will eventually upgrade. Good for just starting out.
