This is a FANTASTIC budget friendly way to get your punches, kicks, elbows, knees in, etc. We have limited space and this bag is thinner than others on the market but that is a great thing as it is easy to move around a room if you need to store it away each time. I am not a fighter but I spent years in an MMA gym daily mostly with Muay Thai hitting heavy duty bags, etc. My teen son wanted to get into bag work and I saw this and the good reviews and was immediately blown away. I got him this as a Xmas gift and he was surprised. The quality of the bag is very good and even with just water it is heavy enough for most people. If you are an extremely hard hitter, sand is your friend and the spring base will come into play. I can throw a solid hook and this thing along with the gloves hold up very well (with wraps on of course). It will even hold up to muay thai kicks for most people. Good - Decent quality, easy assembly. Feels nice when you hit it. (came with adult boxing gloves) Bad - the fill hole at the base (for filling water or sand) leaks if you use the punching bag vigorously. I tried using plastic wrap to make the seal tighter, but it still leaks a little each time.

Wifey got me this for Christmas and I love it! We were a little confused on what to fill it with. So we checked out the reviews and saw that lots of people used sand! SHOUT OUT TO Ed for mentioning that you need FOUR BAGS of ALL PURPOSE SAND. BUT I had to make my own funnel because every funnel I had was too narrow at the bottom. So I included pictures of my own personal version of a sand funnel. The barcodes are for part identification. You can find these parts at any home improvement store(Lowes, Home Depot, Ace). Once we had that, the rest was smooth sailing. We love the included gloves. They can fit either of us. Me 6'5" 280 lbs her 5'6" ~160 lbs. Now I've hit this bag with a pretty heavy punch. It wobbles but it won't fall down. I also bought a office chair mat for the suction cups, that makes it even more sturdy. Be warned if you use sand it will make a mess. Before you start filling it, put down a tarp or mat to catch the excess sand. Then clean up is a breeze. I must say that we love this punching bag. It hasn't disappointed us at all ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I'm going to cover a few things in this review. 1. I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase. 2. I'm 60 years of age and never hit a punching bag more then once or twice in my life untill now! 3. The gloves run small so I saved them for my wife, she is swimming in them. I purchased a open finger MMA style and I'm liking them alot! 3. I'm using this bag hard 20 minutes 3 times aweek. Some times I'll do a 5 minute walk by the bag session. 4. The instructions are clear and it assembled quickly. I filled the base with 90 lbs of sand, that took about 15 minutes! Here's what I did, I used a red quick fill sand funnel I purchased with 2 50lbs clean sand. I poured the sand into a 5 gallon bucket. I took a plastic half gallon milk carton with a screw cap lid and cut it to just under half its length And the sand flowed as fast as I could pour. 5. I weekly check all the nuts and bolts sofar so good. I have this set up in my garage on the concrete and it works fine, I can get around 3/4 of the bag easy. Space is tight and the foot print is outstanding for what it is. 6. I think the price point is very fair compared to others on the market. 7. I recived communicate from the shipper letting me know that it does come in two separate packages and I recived a tracking number for each one. 8. See my short video. ... show more

Was looking for some kind of exercise for my kids and after talking to the young gym rats at work they all had the same thing to say. Boxing. This is an almost (buy you're own sand)all in one package that comes in two boxes. With a sand fill and attaching the suction cups it stays in place and don't fall over. I have it in a rough floor basement and so far the oldest dose two sessions a day and as he progresses there are a ton of u tube routines that keep it fun with minimal time spent and a full body exercise. Along with being fun it's great for stress. I challenge anyone to stay on their toes and keep giving this thing combos for 1 song on you're playlist. You will feel it. Now the good and not so good Good Easy assembly not real heavy to get into place. Takes the pounding. Comes with ok boxing gloves for good wrist support. Is what I wanted for wayyyy less than alot without being cheap and flimsy. Now the not good All I got is it's time consuming and frustrating filling the sand thru the 2 inch hole.i imagine removing the sand will be a task as well and you can go water to fill but unless you have a smooth finished floor for the suction cups it might very slowly move. More a nit-pick ,but hey had to have a con. All in all great buy serves the purpose and gets my teenager off call of duty twice a day wile opening the door to physical fitness and the confidence it brings.good job fitvin. ... show more
