Description

The Jim-Gem Speedy Dibble was developed by high-production tree planting contractors to improve planting speed and reduce fatigue in the field. Featuring a beveled arrow point and lightweight steel construction, this planting bar penetrates soil easily while creating consistent planting holes for seedlings and saplings. Approximately 2 lbs. lighter and 2-1/8 inches shorter than standard dibble bars, the Speedy Dibble is easier to carry and maneuver throughout long planting days. It performs especially well in light to medium soils and moist ground conditions, making it an excellent choice for forestry, reforestation, conservation, and habitat restoration projects. Turned what would have been an entire afternoon job into a job of an hour or so. 25+ saplings in the ground without hardly any trouble. We've got clay for days, so the sharp tip is a must. Didn't bend, much less break. If you're planting saplings or small trees, this is worth every penny.

    • It’s a bit heavy but it works
It does the job well but after using it for a while it gets a little heavy. It will last for 1000 years though, and it will be hard to lose since it’s even more orange than trump’s hair.

Handle could be wider, I slipped 20mm bar thru the center for a wider grip. My soil is hard clay and takes a lot of effort. Makes planting quick with softer ground.
