    • LS issues
The 10x1.5mm bolts for an LS (end of heads “accessory” locations) do not fit through the lift strap bolt holes. Had to slightly drill them out with a 25/64 drill bit. For such a popular engine platform, you’d think it would be ready to go. The lift plate is thick and weighed more than I expected. Have not yet used it, but will likely test fit the LQ4 (iron block 6.0 “LS”) into my son’s 1986 El Camino this weekend. I’m sure the engine will go in and out several times before it finally lives there and I’m hoping this lift sling makes those easier. ... show more
