I bought this specifically because I have a 9' ceiling in my shop. It fits with about 1.5" to spare. It arrived in good condition, in three days. Quality is good, especially at the price. Installation was fine and it works as expected. I can't raise vehicles high enough to walk under because of my ceiling, but I can sit in an office chair. Would buy it again...

The lift arrived quickly, packaging was not adequate as the lift had many scratches. Installed and tested. The lift had no issues with small, less than 80% max weight vehicles. I did experience a failure in one of the posts when lifting 7800lbs. I left and email for the seller and received prompt sand professional service within hours of my email. A few days later all failed parts have been replaced. I would recommend this seller and the 2 post lift.

I have a Auto Repair shop. I have mostly Rotary hoists. I just needed a basic hoist for long term jobs. This hoist is perfect and is very comparable to the Rotary Hoist I have for 1/3the price. I'm happy.

This hoist could work for cars. I've had it for a year and a half and they won't warranty any parts. I picked up a 2013 F250 with the power stroke. It bent the arm and sliding table so bad it wedged into the post and wouldn't go back down. The truck was stuck and half way falling off the hoist and it wouldn't go back down until I put a jack under the truck. Over all I'm writing this so everyone knows to use this lift for 4000 and down. Don't but it expecting a 9000lb lift.

This lift is from China. It seems to be very well built. The manual is not so good. I found some on line manuals from similar lifts that were more helpful. The most difficult procedure to install this lift it drilling (14) 5/8" holes into the concrete floor. By the way the manual does not tell you what size hole to drill. There is a galvanized channel (also not mentioned in the manual) that covers the hydraulic hose that goes from one side to the other that has to be modified with a cutout for the hose fitting. (see photo). There is a safety cut off switch that needs to be mounted near the top of the pump side column - the manual does not show where that goes either, but there are two pre-drilled holes in the column and I figured it out. It will need to be adjusted to align with the lift piece. When the power was connected to the hydraulic pump it did not work. After checking out the wiring it was determined that the factory had mis-wired the switch relay. Wiring it properly got it going. Were it not for the wiring glitch I would have given this five stars. There are two rubber pads that attach to the lift on each side to protect a door when opening. Those were not mentioned in the instructions either! The lift was crated in a very sturdy angle iron frame and packaged very well with bubble wrap and cardboard. It is mentioned in the manual to lubricate with grease the contact areas inside the columns. If you purchase a lift be certain to lubricate these areas very well before using. It would also be good to lubricate the bearings on the cable pulleys. I tested this lift with my 4500 pound Nissan pickup and it lifted it very well.
