  • Great pump but make sure it's primed and has proper flow rate!
PLEASE READ FULL REVIEW. Received my Rv water pump. Decided to test before mounting and was disappointed in the flow rate. In addition the pump refused to shut down on its own when no water demand. Initially I thought I purchased the wrong style of pump so I called customer service and spoke to Liz. Super friendly agent and she advised she had received several calls along the same issue. We arranged to have a replacement pump sent. In the meantime I made an adjustment to the flow rate and pressure was more as I expected. AND Now the pump was operating as expected. Great flow rate and pump automatically shut down when no demand was needed. I instantly called Liz to cancel the new shipment. She was so happy to hear the problem solved and was happy to hear that perhaps the problem was due to improper Factory setting for the flow rate. This is a company that values customer service and stand by their product. Super happy! Will update this review if the situation changes. But if you purchase this pump you can feel confident that any issues will be happily solved by Liz!! ... show more

  • Lots of Pressure Great customer Service
Best pressure water pump that I have ever used. I have really thick hair and can't get the soap out. This water pump changed that for me. I use less water now because I don't have to run it forever to get out the soap. We had an issue with it not cutting off. I just ran and ran. I think we made the issue worse by not know how to adjust the two screw. Customer service was fast and great and treated me more than fair. This will be the only pump I will ever buy. ... show more

  • POS
The pump worked great for the first 10 minutes in my RV. I was impressed with the silence and pressure, but then went to open the spigot and no water. WTF? Checked the pump and it was hot to the touch so I shut the power off to it. After 10 minutes after letting it cool it worked fine. When the spigot was opened it would pressure up normally and shut off, then on listening I realized that it would pulse slowly never truly shutting off, which explains the motor getting hot. The problem is definitely with the pressure regulator and is now a worthless POS unless you want to shut the power off every time you are finished opening a spigot or taking a shower. Do not buy! You have been warned. ... show more

  • Exceptional RV water pump that has completely transformed our camping water system!
This upgraded RV fresh water pump has been absolutely incredible and revolutionized our off-grid camping experience with reliable, consistent water pressure - the quality is outstanding with robust diaphragm construction that delivers smooth, quiet operation while maintaining excellent durability through countless camping trips and demanding use conditions, and I love how the self-priming design eliminates the frustrating setup issues we experienced with our previous pump. The functionality is phenomenal as the 6GPM flow rate and 70PSI pressure provide excellent water delivery for showers, dishwashing, and all camp needs while the 12V DC operation integrates perfectly with our RV electrical system without requiring additional power modifications or converters. It looks great with professional-grade construction that clearly indicates this is serious equipment built for reliable service, and the compact design fits perfectly in our existing pump compartment while running significantly quieter than our old unit that used to wake everyone up. At this price point for a high-performance RV water pump, it's incredible value compared to expensive dealer installations or constantly dealing with inadequate water pressure that ruins camping comfort - this pump has allowed us to enjoy consistent, strong water pressure even when dry camping for extended periods, and guests are always impressed by how well our water system performs compared to typical RV setups, making this one of the smartest RV upgrades I've made for dramatically improving camping comfort and reliability while eliminating the water pressure frustrations that used to limit our enjoyment of remote camping adventures. ... show more

  • Nice pump... bad documentation/quality control
I decided to bench-test it before installing it permanently. Coupe of buckets, some hoses and a pressure tank with a pressure gauge. It's REALLY nice and quiet, as long as there are no leaks in the suction. Mine had an air leak in the filter/strainer. I was able to stop the after a couple of tries. I do like how quiet it ran after that, so I hope I can make it work. The instructions are very poorly written. There is a pressure cutoff screw to adjust the pressure switch, and it seems to work ok... kind of (I was trying to set mine on 58 psi), and had some limited success, but the shutoff would only happen after a lot of pump chatter as the set point pressure was reached. The instructions seem to conflate this switch with the bypass screw (which must adjust a pop-off valve of some sort... no mention of how that is supposed to work, other than "The pressure gauge pointe jitter (sic) instantaneous data is shutoff-by-pass pressure". I've written and read a lot of technical stuff, but am not sure what that is supposed to mean. As to the bypass screw: Mine was threaded in at an angle (it's a stainless steel allen set screw about 3/4", takes a 5/16" allen wrench, not the 7/16 wrench the instructions describe), and did not seem to reliably adjust much of anything. Instructions say to remove it completely and screw it in 10 to 11.5 turns clockwise. The pump chatters as it reaches the setpoint pressure (58 psig in my case). What I wanted was the bypass to kick-in at about 65 psi (ie; never unless the cutoff pressure switch fails). Coudn't do it. I would presume this can be done by setting the pressure cutoff switch to a higher pressure than desired, adjusting the bypass to open at that pressure, then back off the pressure cutoff switch to the desired pressure. None of this is obvious from the instructions (they just say "unscrew it completely, then screw it in about 10 1/2 turns) Nothing about how it works. or how to set it dynamically. OK, maybe I am missing something, but since I am a pretty handy guy, I figured that with a little advice from Customer Service, I could make this work, maybe even fix whatever seems to be wrong with this pump. Called Customer Service at 11:00am this morning. Guess what I got? "Customer Service is not available at this time. Please leave a message at the tone". So I did. Never heard back. If I don't hear back before I get a replacement pump in two days, I am going to send this thing back. I will update later either way. Update two days later. Was never able to get in contact with customer service. I have a time constraint, so I did something I shouldn’t have had to do: I McGivered the bypass valve by removing its cover and shimming the screw to ensure that the bypass pressure would exceed the set point pressure. It worked. Pump ran smoothly and quietly during the bench test, so I went ahead and installed it. ... show more

  • A work around for
Very good quality pump. The preset pressure of 70psi is a bit high for my RV. And did not want to stop. My experience in the past is these types of built in pump pressure switches have issues over time with hard water scale or particles. So i did not make any adjustment on the pump. What i did install was a Square D FSG2J24CP 40 To 60 PSI Water Pump Pressure Switch (Amazon ) . These simple switches have a track record of reliability for years. I installed the switch on the outlet side with a pex T fitting. I also installed a pressure gauge to make any pressure switch adjustment easy if required. None was required. I now have a system that is superior to the original water pump system that came with this RV. ... show more
