My plans for this lift is primarily storage and maximize my limited floor space. Went with the larger XLT so I would not be limited to smaller vehicles. Assembly is routine if you possess good mechanical aptitude and skill. Instructions were not shipped with my lift. E mail to vendor got them e mailed back to me very timely. Some assembly bolts required are repurposed from the shipping brackets that hold everything together. Don’t throw anything away until lift is completely assembled. ... show more

    • Great materials but installation was a tiny bit challenging

The workmanship and materials on this are out of sight awesome. The directions however are very very poor and difficult to understand. I am an experienced mechanic as is my next-door neighbor and we both had to perform some serious problem-solving skills to put this thing together. I contacted the vendor and got an apology that the assembly instructions were not better but was directed to YouTube videos that were somewhat helpful but not great. I am extremely happy with the build quality and sturdiness of the unit now that is installed. If you have a serious homeowner garage, this will give you street cred like no one’s business. I would advise anyone that buys this to get the bridge jack that goes along with it so you can work on your projects and not be limited to a storage lift. All in all I’m pretty satisfied and would buy this unit again. If you are not particularly mechanically inclined and would rather spend more money and pay somebody to do things then you may want to consider a much more expensive lift. If you are a very serious hobbyist in a do it yourself or then I recommend this product. ... show more

Like the 3/16” and 1/4” steel construction, black powder coating, included jack support, don’t like the lift speed or the ramps (heavy) that have to be manually removed and installed. Overall, great product, it’s a great way to store cars and do maintenance on your vehicles.

Not enough bolts, correct length bolts, and the bolts that came with it are butter bolts! No way I would trust being under this! Went and got grade 8 bolts because I don't want to die. Oh yeah, not enough washers either. Instructions aren't great, but that's expected.

Bought this a bit ago and have been using it religiously. Seems well put together, it’s heavy to unload and assemble, but needs to be given the capacity. I’ve lifted some heavy vehicles on it as you can see.

Great value and quick shipping! No surprises. Only complaint is the instructions, very poor. Fortunately me and the two fellows that helped me had done it before, do we had a clue on how to do it. I would give it 5 stars if the instructions were complete instead of to guess where the parts went.
