    • Great value but there are some design flaws
I liked how easy it was to install this cold air intake but there are some flaws to this design overall. The male to female connection for the filter is too smooth. I would recommend you scuff up the surface on both with some sand paper so it can make a more solid connection, otherwise it will slip off constantly. The clamp for that connection wasn't able to tighten as much as was needed to keep it secured. I ended up using a different HVAC clamp which took care of that issue. The other thing that i found to be an issue was the metal pieces that attach to the bottom of the stock filter box. They make an okay connection but it becomes loose and doesn't hold it in place for long. You can drill a couple holes and attach a couple zip ties to rectify that issue. ... show more

    • Eazy to install it took 15 minutes
The media could not be loaded. It was easy, gave little more rumble and yes can really hear it from inside the vehicle, did feel little increased with take off speed, and faster rpm rev, i still have stock exhaust at the moment so im not using 100% of the capability yet. But over all for the price i like it and it took 15 minutes from starting to finish. If ur looking to get 800 horses of of ur 5.0 then yeah u could use this but if u already spend that much money why not get a s&b or a k&n. Im only looking to push 450 to 500 horses out of my 5.0 nothing crazy. ... show more

I love this intake! The sound of my 16' F-150 is glorious with this mod. Low range RPMs, the grovel is awesome and full throttle is super throaty and loud. It took a few days for the computer to adjust, but small increase in mileage. Definitely feel gains in mid-range RPMs.

Too early to tell about a mileage difference. Seems to be an improvement over factory filter. Easy install looks great and about half the price as others I've used. Put it in a 2019 Ford f150 5.0.

Instructions were terrible and the fit wasnt the greatest but it works and looks good. Read other reviews about scuffing the plastic before attaching couplers so they stay together. Not sure if I'll keep it yet as holy heck is it loud! Engine and exhaust twice as loud now. The cheap think pipe vibrates and echos engine noise, may wrap with carbon fiber to lessen. ... show more
