I've been very happy with these packets. I like using these rather than the 60L bottles of carbon dioxide that have to be sent back or recycled. There is a slight acidic taste to the sparking water, but this seems to be related to the carbonation, not the byproducts of the packets. The packets work every time. Important to make sure there is no build-up of the residual chemicals after carbonation - but it's easy to rinse the carbonation machine.

Received my Sparkel as a gift, while unique in design, the end product hits the spot. The pre-measured co2 packet makes generating a seltzer a visual spectacle as well as the knowledge of what the seltzer contains, win-win

I'm on my second Sparkel machine. The first one I foolishly ruined by listening to the advice of a YouTuber who said you could make your own DIY carbonator sachets (wrong!) That will actually void your warranty and gunk up your machine to the point that it becomes useless. These sachets are the only products to use, but they will cost you. Honestly, when you factor in the price of these (about 50 cents per serving), I'm not sure you're doing better than breaking even on what you'd pay for bottled/canned sparkling water in the grocery store, but it is convenient to make it at home, and it's less waste -- though I would like these sachets to be made out of more environmentally friendly package.

We love bubbly water at my house. We have a soda stream but it is hard to get the cartridge refill so we bought the sparkle machine. We absolutely love it. It’s easy to use and there are no cartridges to get and no bottles to recycle. I am sure this is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. It works great for plain bubbly, fruit infused drinks, and making a soda. I love this machine.
