This is a nice space heater. I was disappointed at first that the fan wasn't blowing as hard as the others that I have, but it heats my bathroom quickly, which is why I needed it. Im very sensitive to cold and this one did not fail to keep me warm. I dont use the remote so I cant speak to that. The only thing I dont dont care for is that when your turn it off, it doesn't turn off immediately. It does like a 20 second count down to shut off. The instructions say it is to let all of the heat out. I just unplug it because im impatient.

As a space heater it has lots of useful features such as oscillation, fan only mode, 3 heat levels, eco mode (temperature setting turns the heater to whichever heat level is appropriate). However, the first place I usually go is testing the safety aspects. Does it hold to its correct wattage? This WINHL 17in heater when it was turned on went straight to H3 and after the brief surge all heaters do, it within seconds settle down to the 1500watts it is designed for and held it there. Even when I would turn on an extra feature like oscillation, it held. Good marks on that. It also has safety features such as a tip over cut off. This one appears to be accelerometer based so I couldn't identify any way to defeat it. It shows P4 on the display and although tapping the buttons will make sounds, the device stays off displaying P4 until you place it upright again. Then you can turn it back on. At that point, I took a look at the way it maintains a temperature and it adjusts the heat setting instead of just turning off and on. If it's too far above the set temperature, it completely stops heat, fan, and oscillation until the temperature returns to its settings. A good design feature. Outside that it does have a backup overheat function that will shut off the heater, too. All around I found lots of good and no obvious faults.

I love almost everything about this heater. The build quality is fantastic. All of the features work well and the unit feels like it is built to last. To me this heater is even a little fancier than I might have expected for the price. In fact, I would have given this product five stars if it didn't violate the National Electric Code (NEC). The wire gauge is undersized for running the heater at max heat for longer than 3 hours at a time. To be fair, this is a problem that is rampant with most space heaters you find online. However, normally they come with a warning not to use the heater for longer than 3 hours. Not only does this not have a warning, it has a function for 12 hours of continuous use. The manufacturer clearly knew about this risk as they used a robustly heat and flame resistant cord to mask the fact that the wire is undersized and will heat up while trying to pull a max load for long periods of time. The fact that the wire will heat up is even mentioned in the safety pamphlet, but I am an electrician and I can tell you it is not supposed to heat up that much. The manufacturers most likely were able to get this product an ETL certification by marketing the product as not for continuous use, but the fact that it has a continuous use function violates NEC regulations. To summarize, this is still a pretty great quality product, but only when used appropriately. Do not set it to the full 1500 watts for longer than 3 hours if you want to use this product within the NEC guidelines. Otherwise the product has robust safety features, just don't confuse it's overheat protection as protecting the cord.

This heater is small and compact. It will not take up a lot of room or be an eyesore. It will not heat a whole large room but it is good for heating up a small general area or a small office or bedroom. Keep in mind , it is only seventeen inches in height. It is very stylish looking and it heats up quickly. It has a digital read out and a remote control. It is very lightweight and easy to use. It does have a function that will automatically turn off the heater if it falls on its side. You can literally put it on a desk.Or a night stand and it not even looked like a heater.It is very inconspicuous in design.

I chose the Space Heater, WINHL 17 Inches Electric Heater, because it was time to upgrade my old heater. The Space heater has a modern look, three power settings, and a thermostat that maintains the room temperature and adjusts the power level. The remote control is easy to learn and program for the functions, including the automatic shut-off. The LED panel is clear and bright. The device is ETL certified with multiple levels of protection in case of overheating or falling. The seller has a good reputation and experience in the electric heater business. The heater heats immediately upon turning it on. Still, its maximum power is limited to 1500 watts, as obtaining higher power from a standard U.S.A. electrical outlet typically necessitates upgrading the electrical wiring for safety reasons. At the time of this writing, the Space Heater is a good value, offering all the bells and whistles one might ever need for a reasonable price. Although more expensive devices are available on Amazon, I believe they provide better visual effects without increasing the heat or functionality.
