I used plastic storage to make my sourdough starter before I bought this glass jar. I just cannot understand why I didn't buy it earlier. It's so much easier and more comfortable to use. It has measurements, so I don't need to measure everything anymore. It comes with a spatula and a lid, which make all the processes much easier.

I recently wanted to start making my own sourdough but never had the time to read up on it. Saw this starter kit and thought I'd give it a try since it doesn't cost much, couldn't hurt. I'm glad I got it because it's so easy and convenient, all I had to do is add flour and water. The glass jar is a plus because I try to avoid plastic, as much as possible. The marker is sure helpful. Overall, very happy with this starter kit.

This is so much better than using a container or mason jar. It has the measurements and comes with a lid so I can store it easily. Especially love the spatula. Very easy to clean and maintain! Highly recommend for fellow sourdough enthusiasts!

I normally make sourdough starter in a small plastic Tupperware that was a little bit annoying to keep track of since it had no labeling, and you kinda had to guess exactly how much it had risen. Useful since this has nice markings that make it easy to keep track of the rise. Bonus spatula also comes in handy. Overall, a nice option if you want to regularly make sourdough bread.

I am in love with this jar. It’s glass and is high quality. I love how easy it is to see how much your starter has grown with the markings on it and the band it comes with to help you keep track of when you last fed the starter. If you make sourdough I highly recommend this!!
