- 18.5 Gal Stainless Steel Fermenter: Our alcohol distiller features a 70 L/18.5 Gal capacity, able to distill about 17.5 kg rice at one time by heating to boiling selectively and then cooling to condense the vapor. Besides, the whole alcohol distilling kit is constructed of 304 food-grade stainless steel, ensuring it to be sturdy and easy to clean. For this type, the lid has been upgraded, featuring an enhanced sealing effect and rust-proof welding joints.
- Excellent Impurity Filtration: With a pack of ceramic balls inside, the rectifying tower is able to filter out high-boiling impurities in the wine vapor, giving the higher-purity wine access to the condensing device. It leads to a higher distillation purity with an output of 12.5 kg fine alcohol for 50% content by volume or 17.5 kg for 30%.
- Efficient Condensation Treatment: This alcohol still adopts the stainless steel coiled tubes with rapid thermal conductivity assuring promising cooling performance, together with a large contact area with the coolant, providing a rather low temperature of distilled product. Also, during the condensation process, an additional water circulating pump facilitates the expedited water flow of the condensing agent.
- Complete Set of Accessories: The whiskey making kit comes with a thermometer (0-150C / 32-302F) for easy monitoring of real-time alcohol temperature. A one-way air evacuation valve is included as well, and 2/3 of the water is added to it to help release air when fermenting the grain (the gas can only get out). Our distilling kit also contains a vinometer kit for precise measurement of wine degree.

This thing works wonderfully. Extremely efficient. My one piece of advice is to run the unit fully assembled with a mixture of 50% distilled water, 50% white vinegar for several hours in order to clean out the vapor collection chamber and condenser or else your distillate will taste like rubber. Be sure to rinse your unit thoroughly with water after and then you are ready. The thermometer is in Celsius but it's very accurate. I had to get the conversions to Fahrenheit but that's not a problem. You can always run to your local home store and grab a Fahrenheit if you want but it's not necessary. The rationing balls are useless for me. They have this powdery substance on them that remains even after you run them under a spigot. I don't feel safe using those. As a matter of fact, the entire unit had that powder on it so please was it thoroughly once you receive it. The proof and tralle hydrometer does exactly what it is supposed to do. It's wonderful. The test tube is plastic and it's not so great. You may want to simply set the hydrometer into your collection container and forgo using the test tube. The post holds up very well to direct flame. It also works with my Nuwave Precision Induction Cooktop. That is not to say it will work with every induction stove top but it seems to reason that it should. I use a couple layers of parchment paper under the pot on my induction cooktop and it works fine. Does not come with a drain hole. It's only gallons. Easy to pour out. You'll want to get some extra hours for the condenser. The tube they provide you with is thick walled 1/2 inch inner diameter silicone. It is perfect to connect your water pump to the condenser. There just isn't enough of it to connect the out spout to a recirculation reservoir to keep the condenser cool. Grab some extra and a 1/2 inch clamp. All in all, it's a great unit once it is cleaned thoroughly. Extremely efficient and very precise once you run it a couple times and get the feel of it. It couldn't get any simpler. What I really liked - This is a very quality product. Folks complain that there are no instructions and that's a fact. Also they complain about the welds and I am a professional welder and this still has gorgous welds. Almost look like machine welds. The pot and all the accessories were polished and clean. I can not fault this product at all. Right now I'm running two batches of water and vineger through it to clean all the polishing compound out of it. It runs beautifully and steady. The clean water looks crystal clear. It just works and is far more then I expected. What I didn't like - My major complaint was FedEx. This thing literally passed my house on it's full weeks journey to get to me accumulating over 1300 miles. I know I had free shipping but if you want it in a reasonable about of time pay the extra $10 and get real shipping. The other minor issue was the little water pump, it works great and comes with an adapter to the hose but the adapter doesn't fit the pump and you have to use your imagination to make a bushing to make it work. But that's easily overcome. Also the water hoses could be another 3' longer but that is not an issue. Bottom line this is a real bargan and truly a quality product. You can order this with confidence as it's a great buy and a really quality product. Go for a little faster shipping and it well make you happier!!

I've already distilled some water through this, just received it today. I have attached some detailed pictures showing how this kit comes. Inside of the condensation canister (if that's what it's called), there is a welded, coiled up, stainless tube, and that tube carries the cooling water - NOT the captured steam. The captured steam collects around the outside of the cooling tubes. This canister does NOT come apart, it is welded permanently. The welds on this unit are ugly, but perfectly sealed. There are many parts of the unit, that need further filing/sanding. For instance, the "Out" spout at the bottom of the entire pot, will practically cut your finger off. It is very jagged and sharp! If you are one for aesthetics, the riveted handles of the pot are square with each other, but not with the bottom spout. You can see this misalignment in one of my pictures. I totally don't care about any of this stuff. You might. The clover connections are very strong and solid. The only leaking I had at all, was at the "end of the line" at the extension tube where it threads to the canister. I highly recommend using teflon tape at all threaded connections. This kit includes one thermometer, and it is Celsius only. There are also three included mini hydrometers, with a standard glass thermometer as well. In the picture, you'll see some yellow ball things. Not sure exactly what they are, or what the purpose is. I will research that later. Also, there is a 'one way' submersible pump included. So ya gotta drop that into a bucket of ice water, and circulate it that way. There is an included divider with holes through it, that sits a little lower than mid way down in the pot. The pot has a 'slot' that acts as a shelf for the divider / steamer attachment. Very cool feature! I'm super glad I got this setup, it's super cool! I'm probably going to try using the horizontal configuration. Can't wait to have some delicious distilled water! I highly recommend this unit.

I'm confused by this product. Everything looks to be of pretty high quality, but the gasket for the boiler pot is unusable. It does not fit, and I can't make it fit. I tried heating it up in hot water, to no luck. I tried stretching it a bit to make it fit, and it ripped immediately. It looks like it was held together with clear silicone sealant? Why make what appears to be a good product and skimp on a cheap gasket? Hopefully I can find a replacement. If not, this thing is a paperweight. Steer clear.

I just finished my cleaning run of this unit The run went absolutely perfect no leaks I did not have to over tighten the clamps no leaks at all I did use thread tape on the valves the unit arrived two days after ordering it was boxed and packaged very well no dents or dings to the box or the unit and the shipping was free it is very easy to maintain a constant temperature the thermometer for the unit is in Celsius It was not an issue I used a conversion chart Celsius to Fahrenheit the Welding on the column and the condenser look as though they were done with a machine absolutely perfect The one very small problem was with the extension on the condenser outlet the extension tube was a very loose fit very easy to overcome I simply wrapped the outlet with thread tape slipped the extension tube over the outlet and it worked absolutely perfect I highly recommend this unit to anyone thinking about starting distilling as a hobby Great product could not be happier you just can’t beat it for the money I hope this review Will be of help in making your decision
