A Must-Have for Any Sourdough Baker – All the Essentials in One Kit!
Size: 1 Pack
I’m a professional baker, and I picked this up to use at home—and I have to say, it’s honestly perfect for what I needed. The 34 oz sourdough starter jar is sturdy, spacious, and super functional for keeping my starter happy between bakes. The markings and breathable lid make maintenance easy, and the size gives me plenty of room to build up for multiple loaves. The magnetic bread lame is a nice bonus—sharp, easy to handle, and great for clean, controlled scoring. It's a simple touch, but it makes a big difference when you're working with delicate, well-hydrated dough. Important to note: this kit does not come with banneton baskets, so you’ll need to grab those separately if you don’t already have them. But for the price and quality, this is still a fantastic value. Pros: ✔️ Large, sturdy starter jar perfect for frequent home baking ✔️ Easy-to-use lid and clear markings for feeding and monitoring ✔️ Magnetic bread lame is precise and comfortable to use ✔️ Great gift or setup for anyone getting serious about sourdough ✔️ Professional-grade quality for home use Cons: ✘ No proofing baskets included—but I already have my favorites, so it wasn’t a dealbreaker Final Thoughts: Whether you’re just starting out or you're a serious home baker, this kit gives you exactly what you need to maintain a healthy starter and get consistent, beautiful loaves. Definitely pro-approved for home use!

Wide mouth & plenty of room!
Size: 1 Pack
I've been making sourdough starter and bread for years. I've always used a widemouth pint jar. But I really like this KNEADACE Pro sourdough starter jar. It has a wider mouth. It has a nice stretchy band that has the day and time printed on it. Very handy! I've always just used a rubber band, which couldn't remind me when I started the rise. The little temperature gauge is helpful too - because if it's too cold or too hot you're not going to get the results you want. The lid fits nicely too. I highly recommend this starter kit!

So Very Handy
Size: 1 Pack
When first viewing this jar online I wasn't sure how the temperature plate worked. As my photo shows, the 'leaves' turn a different color indicating your house temp, and helpful to guesstimate rising time of fed starter. The temp plate is actually a sticker which strongly adheres to the glass jar. You adhere the temp sticker yourself. Jar must be hand washed due to that sticker. The black stretchable band is great to keep track of date & time of last feeding. It is marked for Sun-Sat and 6 AM-12-6 PM with shorter vertical lines for unmarked 3 AM-9 AM-3PM-9PM (as seen in same photo). The jar is thick glass making it durable. Comes with a silicone cover that doubles as a bottom gripper besides being the cover for refrigeration. There is also a hand washable stretchable cloth top cover for when your starter is rising in a warm area. And a sturdy, stiff rubber spatula. No recipes were included. This item is very well made and a good value for your money. If it ever broke I would replace it, but I don't see breakage happening. Only disappointment was that it was shipped only in it's original container, not in another box for protection. It was delivered with a sizable gash in one side; however nothing was lost, and glass jar was intact as the top & bottom of jar was packed in sturdy foam. This is the first time ever that Amazon did not ship an item inside another protective box. Perhaps due to XMAS rush or pending strike? I'm new to the sourdough world and was using a canning jar with masking tape and/or a rubber band to mark the starter's level. I'm also an infrequent baker (gotta watch those carbs) and at times I couldn't remember last feeding. So I really like this jar. I'm just a regular customer giving an honest, unsolicited & uncompensated review. I do recommend this productm

Perfect sized jar for starter
Size: 1 Pack
This has become my favorite starter jar. The smooth rounded sides are easy to scrape down and clean, the temp guide & sliding elastic date/time band makes this the perfect jar for bakers needing starter for up to 5 loaves.

Perfect for any level
Size: 1 Pack
I absolutely love this sourdough starter kit! It’s super beginner-friendly but also great for more experienced bakers. Everything you need comes in one set, and the jar is sturdy, well-designed, and easy to maintain. The instructions are clear, and the starter activates beautifully with just a little patience. I’ve been able to make consistently good loaves with it, and I love that the kit keeps things clean and organized on my counter. If you’re thinking about getting into sourdough—or just want a nicer setup for your starter—this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

It works good for what it is but you don’t need it to have a successful starter.
Size: 1 Pack
I got this when I first started my sourdough journey. There’s a lot of great things about it but after 2 months of use here is what you need to know : 1. the fabric cap … kinda sucks. It holds on just fine it’s just if your rim is not perfectly clean, the cap get dirty. 2. You really kinda need 2 of them. You have to clean the jar every 2-3 days so you have to transfer the starter in an other jar every 2-3 days. 3. There’s a very small crevasse on top of the jar for the cap to stay on. Starter always get stuck there and it’s a pain to clean it. 4. The weight printed on the jar is very usefully !! 5. The elastic to tell you how much your starter has rise and when you fed your starter is great ! 6. Spatualla does the trick. Over all it’s good. But I think it’s a gimmick. You could use a clear glass of water, a rubber band , a random lid and mark straight up on the glass if you need to see the time on the feed.

Product AND Customer service are top notch!
Size: 1 Pack
This jar is perfect for those new to creating a sourdough starter (that’s me 🤣) Everything, from the time band, the thermometer, to the skinny spatula and silicone cover, all make it less intimidating for someone just starting out! I am in the Northeast, where it is freezing and very dry right now, so I have been putting my starter inside the oven with the light on at night, when we keep our house cooler. The thermometer allowed me to see that putting the jar right next to the oven light with the oven door closed was a bit too warm, but moving the jar to the opposite side of the oven away from the light, puts it at a perfect 75-79F range. The silicone cover was the key to my starter not crusting over and preventing growth - I had reached out to Meni (CEO) and asked how to resolve the dry layer on top because it’s been so cold here, he suggested putting the silicone cover on top and it was exactly what it needed. Oh, and let’s talk about customer service…. Meni personally answered every single question I sent to him, and helped me to have a very successful first bake (yesterday) with a very young starter (12 days old at time of making bread). Between emails back and forth, and the extremely helpful walkthrough videos available (I am a ‘need to see it’ kind of person), this newbie was able to bake sourdough 🤣 I need to mention the quality of the packaging as well (for all of these products). I understand that it is not important to everyone, but I feel if a company takes time and effort (and $$$) to present their products in a nice way, it speaks volumes. The packaging is very high quality and esthetically pleasing, and it is clear that a lot of attention goes toward presentation. Quality products AND quality packaging - I have no hesitation purchasing more products from KneadAce.

Wonderful Starter Jar Kit (no actual starter)
Size: 1 Pack
This is fantastic in every way. I bought it for my daughter, but after playing around with it with her I wanted it too. If you’re not using it you can seal it with the rubber lid that hangs out on the bottom until you need it, it comes with a breathable cloth cover with elastic in it, a plastic stirrer and scraper tool so there’s no metal touching the starter, graduated measurements up the side, a rubber band (red) to measure the starter height, and a simple way to use it to track days. Fantastic. And there’s a temperature gauge as well, although you have to stick it on the glass yourself. The glass is molded so you know right where to stick it on. Also, the edges go straight up instead of coming inwards as it does on a lot of pint jars, so it is super easy to work with and feed the starter. I looked at several, and this one is clearly more complete for helping beginning sourdough makers organize the many little yet important details of growing the starter. A great win.
