Worked well till someone walked off with it. Charged a phone in 3-4 hours in my window. Works better in full sun at the right angle. Easy to set up. Charging speed is dependent on whether it in direct sun light or not. It will do the job when you don't have power or are away from power.

I bought two of these. They come with the cables you need to daisy chain them together to cut your charging time by half. I plugged my phone into one right out of the box and it started charging in sunlight. At just 6w, these will charge a device rather slowly, so don't expect too much. After 2 hours in the sun I had a 10% charge. With a second panel connected I doubled the amount of charge in the same time. You can also charge two devices at once with the two-panel setup. These are great to have on hand in case the power goes out and you need to keep a phone operational. No power is stored in the panels, so these cannot power lights at night. They are lightweight and thin enough to slip into a backpack for hiking and camping. Also good for teaching kids how solar energy works. A good reminder of how much energy is going to waste. At this price, I highly recommend picking up a pair to keep with your emergency or off-grid excursion kit.

I tried to charge these solar panels for days in direct sunlight. I used my phone charge to see if it worked but it did not. I tried hooking the panels together for more power but they still did not charge my phone. Now I am trying to return for a refund and lo and behold I have to find a UPS return place around my location. When I did they wanted to charge me $4 for printing out the QR code which I would love to print out my own but there is no simple option to do it so I guess I will keep looking. This one star rating goes for Amazon too! Why make it so complicated to print a shipping label? Oh I guess cause you want to keep the money when I get tired of trying to figure out how to ship the junk back!!!

I just got it today and so far so good. I only wanted it to run my usb fan and that it does. With limited sun it still spins slowly. I just put it in my car tipped to the windshield to see how much it will charge my Bluetooth speaker in a few hours. I like the small size and it's rigid unlike my other little solar panel and will probably hold up better. Is it 6 watts I can't say because it only takes a watt or so to start the fan. I will say this, with direct sun the fan is full speed. I haven't tried to charge my phone so I can't speak for that but like most solar panels, a little battery bank is better than direct connection just for the fact that when the panel isn't getting good sun the phone stops charging and if your phone makes noise when being plugged in it's annoying to constantly hear it. #Update Later in the day it still was still spinning in my backyard which gets morning sun only. Apparently if there is sunlight it spins. It was even spinning the fan in slight shade.

Charges my phone and power bank relatively quickly considering its small size. I measured about 5W output power in direct sunlight. Surprisingly low light threshold; even when cloudy or not in direct sunlight it'll provide a little power. Seems well built and the holes make it easy to clip onto stuff. Overall quite a nice little panel.

I peeled the "Soshine" label and underneath was more spec information that listed 5 watts lol. So these, like most mainland Chinese no-name electronic products, exaggerate specs as per usual. Purchased 4 sets of two panels for a project and tested using a USB voltage amp meter under various loads on a perfect sunny day at around 80 degrees F. Testing single panels, voltage starts to sag at around 2 watts and the maximum power point was about 3.12 watts with 3.9v and .80 amps. The different panels varied slightly but were consistent. Under perfect lab conditions I estimate maximum power would likely be around 3.5 watts. Hooking up two panels in parallel with the supplied wire gets you about 6 watts. These will likely not charge your phone but will charge a small 1-2 cell USB power bank which you can then charge your higher draw device. The panels are very DIY friendly for electronic projects however and are both adequate compared with similar products and at $12/panel are OK price-wise.
