Why did you pick this product vs others?: Value of battery including capacity. Quality: Build quality is excellent. I bought the 4 pack plus rack. The cables that come with them are plenty to go from battery to battery in the rack. Ease of installation: Very easy to install in the included server rack. Functionality: Arrived about 30 percent charged. Packaged well. Easy to set up in my existing charge controller. Battery life: Can’t speak yet on battery life but for my off grid cabin they have ample storage, and have been installed for about a month now being discharged and charged every day by my array and outback solar charge controller / inverter. Weight: They are heavy but not excessive. It took two of us to install into the rack (because I had another person available) it would be possible to install in a rack by yourself but would not be fun. Battery quality: Presentable quality is great. All holes lines up, handles and terminals all were able to be torqued with a torque wrench without breaking. I will be buying more of these in the future to expand my capacity as needed ( or maybe if needed since I replaced lead acids)

I have six of these batteries and all arrived without damage. The V1/V2 units have short blue tooth range since these have metal enclosures. However, the blue tooth application gives you basic information that we all need. I am NOT sure if the PC application allows firmware upgrades or not but you can always contact EW customer service and ask. These units have a BYD BMS with RS485/CAN/RS232 communications and I have used all three methods with the software and charger. PLEASE NOTE that VERSION 3 is shipping and the POSTIVE/NEGATIVE are flipped. The six in the rack are V1 (bottom two) and then version two. There is NO difference between V1/V2 as they has the same BMS, firmware, and software version. Also, the blue tooth application will only show a parallel bank of FOUR and hopefully that is being worked on. Originally posted in March, updated on June 13,2025.

First, I live off-grid. I have 2 EG4 6500ex inverters which support 8k of solar each. currently, on a full sunny day, I get a bit more than 8k of solar coming in. already had 6 eg4 batteries but when off-grid, 30Kw isn't really enough so I decided to try these as they are very inexpensive. I ended up buying 2 of them and in the couple of months I've had them, they been pretty flawless in operation. They charge well, use the full capacity, although the eg4 batteries get a bit more than rated capacity, these get dead on the rated capacity. I don't really care for the cables they included preferring to make my own from 4/0 welding cable. I'm going to end up buying another 4 of these at some point as they are a really good value.

No instructions for the rack,and the you tube video is kinda vague, it will get you far enough you can find your way without the full video. Prepare for a short work out if you don't have help, the batteries are kinda heavy. If you don't practice green zone lifting you may injure yourself, my advice, get help lol. Assembly is fairly easy, it took me a few hours by my self, but i was watching rumble/YouTube and took my time because I was trying hard not to hurt myself. But it is now all Assembled and heavy, heavy, heavy,lol I can't stress it enough.

This battery is great. I received mine today and put it through it's paces already. I charged it at 20 amps, and drained it at 20 amps from 100%. Capacity on the first cycle is as advertised. The kit comes with some accessories. The included parallel cabling quality is questionable but I've not tested it to prove either way. I found 2 Bluetooth apps to use. One in the app store called eco worthy then the one in the manual with a qr code that leads to a different play store app which is poorly written and mostly Chinese language . The one called eco worthy seems official and operates better. Edit after owning a month: I'll Be buying another one of these soon. 5+ stars. I haven't figured out top balancing yet from the app but the cells all settle to the same voltage once resting, either fully charged or fully depleted.

Bought the ecoworthy battery and inverter combo elsewhere for an amazing price. Decided to add another battery as well. Seems to be working perfect. Currently charging from solar and dumping the juice into my Lightning EV as I type this.
