Love these. The legs were very stable and adjustable. They brought in power and charged my bluetti 600 w from 39 to 100%, in about 2 hours in cloudy AZ weather. Mine were the only ones out of 15 people in our group, that didnt blow over. Very stable. I was dissappointed to learn that the cable connector needed to charge my bluetti solar generator did not come with it. I had to order it after I rcvd the panels, the day before my trip. Used this in two road trips last summer this summer. Folded up and took with us when parked to charge the bluetti 800 power station. In the car, being handled every day for about 2mos. Used and set up a number of times when more charge was needed. This needs to be set up each time you use it. It doesn't mount to a vehicle, but folds up and buckles shut. Cables built right into the panel and zip away into pouch right on it. Work in part sun, if blocked in a little shade. But does give less power if not alligned in full sun. Jasonoid on YouTube gives great reviews in detail about tech specs on this and several other solar energy devices. Easy enough for one person to set up. Can be a little wobbly The cables are about 10 feet long. Plugs right into solar receptacle if your power station has one. It will charge your power station depending on the input your station can take and the available sun, and, how much power the batteries in your station can hold. I have a number of bluetti products, and they are all well thought out, ergonomically, durable, well made, and easy easy to use. Can get a teeny bit wet but it's not meant to get rained in or soaked or submerged. Dewy grass is probably fine, but there is a fabric case to this product. It's a great portable panel, if you need it only to boost your power system. My minivan has a 12 volt lighter type jack and charges my system while I drive. When I am parked without driving this charges my system to run my small 12v fridge in my dodge caravan on the days we camp and stay at a site. I am very happy with this panel. ... show more

Good Choice But...

The PV350 is a solid panel but there are some design flaws. 1. The leg stands are too flexy and I believe over time they will fail, particularly in extreme heat situations which will max them out. I think they are using some sort of plastic which tends to be less tolerant of heat. 2. 30lbs is not for the faint of muscle, this is a heavy panel to lug around. 3. If you are using this as a charger for the Bluetti Ac200P/L or Ac200Maxx using (3) of these Pv350 means you'll charge in about 4 hours on a good day. 3. (NO) Grommets to hand these panels from YIKES! 4. On the AC200L your max solar input is 1200 Watts. You might do better to find (3) 400 watt panels that stay within the specs of volts and amps to max out your charging capacity. This will reduce charging to 2.5 hours (on sunny day). I bought 3 of the PV350's They are a bit on the expensive side but well made with the noted exceptions. I would give this a rated 4 on my 1to5 scale of buys. With the caveat, (Good Buy) a five rating would merit a Solid Buy* ... show more

Nice Quality - Wired in Parallel - Charges our 3 Jackerys

I bought this to charge our Jackery Explorer SoGens (1000, 500 & 300 models) when the hard mounted 100w panel on our rooftop tent is shaded or blocked. Overall I am happy with it. I chose this panel vs Jackery's 100w foldable panel for a few major reasons. The Positives: At the time of purchase this panel was a better value at dollars per watts + rated 20 watts more than Jackery's panel - has standard MC4 plug ends - folds down into a smaller footprint vs Jackery's - The BIGGEST plus is that the cells are wired in parallel, which means any shading or partial blocked panels will NOT totally cut production of all the panels like it would with Jackery's that are wired in series. The Negatives - it is longer than the 100w Jackery panel when unfolded. This makes it a little awkward to set up and position. This panel feels quite heavy at 12+lbs. When plugged into the Jackery Explorer 1000 on a clear sunny SoCal Day in October I was able to pull in 105 +/- watts. It took roughly 6-1/2 minutes on average to raise the Jackery one % point at that wattage input (with nothing else drawing power from the Jackery). So this panel would roughly raise the Jackery from 80 to 100% in a little over 2 hours at that wattage input. (On a hazy sunny November day I pulled in 95-98 watts) The PV120 panel feeds a steady 80+/- watts to our Jackery 300 on clear sunny days. Can't remember what wattage it supplied to our Jackery Explorer 500 but will update after next use. The materials & panels seem to be sturdy and of high quality. The 3 adjustable feet on the back of the panels are a bit flimsy but work and fairly easy to adjust. The ten feet of 14 AWG wire (would have preferred larger 12 AWG wire) stores easily in the zippered pocket. Other reviewers have complained about this panel not being able to be left out in the rain. With no USB ports I feel this panel will be less prone to water / moisture ingress... but with such poor energy production during a rain storm why risk the damage? Again, I am happy with this panel overall. It has seen a lot of use over the last 4 years. I will update this review with any issues or further observations that may be important to share with potential buyers. ***Please keep in mind*** - Don't expect panel ever produce the full rated wattage. Take the panels watt rating and multiply it by 75-90% (higher quality panel = higher % of production). Also, if charging your SoGen or a battery (through a charge controller) - once the battery level hits 80-90% it will throttle down the input wattage (usually down to 20w or less). The panel is NOT defective! Your BMS is trickle charging the top end of your batteries and preventing damage to them. Hope this review helps. ... show more

I have only used this once so far. The solar panels arrived nicely packaged. Easy to set up and test with my Bluetti power bank. Just plug and play. Glad that I was able to purchase on a good sale. It was a bit of a hazy day and VERY hot, but they were charging my power bank in the mid to high 70w range. I will keep them folded with the styrofoam edge protectors that they were packed with, placed on top of my spare tire in the tire well of my car. I think the styrofoam will help keep the edges rigid and help them to lie flat and provide protection. A nice addition to my car camping kit! ... show more

Three PV350's in series work great as a solar power house

I have three of these Bluetti PV350 solar panels. They work very well together. I was very pleased to discover that the MC4 cables attached to these panels are long enough to allow for directly connecting all three in series and then not needing any sort of jumper cable to finish the connection to the 8-gauge MC4 PV cable that I use to run to my safe indoor site for the battery pack. When I connect the panels in series, I position the panel attachment cables from the first and third panels to the center of the second panel. All the connections are then easily made with one cable (negative) from the first panel and one cable from the third panel (positive) connecting to the long cable pair that I have going back to the protected site where I have my Bluetti battery pack. The total length of the solar panel attachment cables is 10 feet, with the first 6.5 feet in one common cable and then for the last 3.5 feet, the positive and negative cables are separate. With two panels in series, I was receiving an average of 600 wats sustained and when I went to all three panels, the sustained average was 800 watts. I use an 8 gauge 100-foot-long PV cable made by Windy Nation and sold by Amazon. I do own some larger wattage fixed panels that I will eventually put into use, but I will only buy portable panels in the future. The possibilities of hail damage or theft have caused me to lose interest in rigidly fixed panels. ... show more

Broke Before I Got It Out of Box

EDIT: After 2-1/2 months of ownership and literally treating these (2) panels with kid gloves, one of them requires repair. At the point where the cable splits into 2 (black to red & black, leading to the connectors to attach to the Anderson cable) both red and black cables are coming loose and the wires inside are exposed and fraying. Sometimes when they touch they actually spark. I am now very concerned about the potential for a for or electric shock or damage to my generator. This product is not made well and I'd caution anyone about spending so much money on it. There surely are better constructed panels available. Safety is not a risk you should take. This panel no longer charges effectively and has little purpose. Totally unsatisfactory for a FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR panel after 2-1/2 months of light use. The handles on these panels are extremely cheap crap and will NOT last any length of time. The plastic used is not rated to handle the load of the weight ... or even the force of the the panel simply exerting force against the 2 sides of the handle WHILE AT REST. The hardware (screws) inside the handle that is supposed to hold the sides together to sandwich and attache to the panel, are also too short, thin and weak to handle the force. Basically, understand that you should just consider the handles to not even exist because they WILL break within a few uses. There's no excuse for this. This is simply a cost-cutting move that makes NO SENSE!!! Consider this, Bluetti: someone is carrying the panel by the handle, it breaks, the panel falls and breaks (maybe even falling off a cliff or something), that person is stuck in the middle of nowhere with a busted panel (or no panel) unable to charge their SolGen ... all because you wanted to save a few pennies on plastic and screws. Either use the proper materials that are rated to handle the force, or just don't put any handles on them at all. ... show more
