  • 2 Jackery solar panels connected to my Denno battery back up.
I love this. It made it easy for me to connect my 60 and 100 watt Jackery solar sofa panels to my Denno battery backup. It does take quite a while to charge this battery back up. I just didn’t want to have to go out and buy more solar panels. I usually end up charging it over several days. Most of the time I use the two solar panels to charge my 300 and 500 W Jackery battery back ups. I live in the city on the edge of country. PG&E is going nowhere but up . I use them all the time to recharge my cell phone, solar lights, run my computer, etc. obviously, my PGE bill is lowered, but I still have to heat my house using my gas furnace occasionally, water heater or for cooking. Overall, my bill stays fairly low with gas and electric. These will pay for themselves many times over. The reason I upgraded to a more powerful battery back up is it will recharge many times more than the Jackery. It is heavier than the Jackery. I do end up using the Jackery’s every day and the other Deeno in conjunction. ... show more

  • Weird add-on connectors
The splitter works well. The question I have is why they decided to add two 8mm male-to-8mm female connectors with this. I mean, the connectors don't "change the gender" at the end of any outlet, just makes the end a few inches longer

  • Works
I’ve been using this for a little over a year now. I’m connecting two 100W panels into a Bluetti Power Generator. The male end does not fit securely, nor has it ever fit securely in the input port on the Bluetti. This causes intermittent charging which is annoying. I’m currently looking for another splitter that will fit snugly into the port. Update: I thought it was this plug that was the problem. But after purchasing 4 different plugs, each one kept falling out of the charging port on the Bluetti. I even purchased a cord from Bluetti and it still fell out. The issue was with the Bluetti charging port itself. ... show more

  • Good quality
I recently acquired a Goal Zero and solar panels for my camping trailer. It’s amazing how many extra cables, splitters and different connectors you end up needing! One of the cables/connectors I purchased early on came from iGreeley and I was impressed with the quality and heavier gauge wire than most of the others, so I spent a little extra and bought more of their cables and splitters. The connectors don’t really snap together with the Goal Zero ones but it is a nice tight fit and I trust it will be just fine. I’ll have leftover adapters for the Jackery’s but that’s OK. ... show more

  • Disappointing Fit for Jackery
I was excited to try this iGreely 8mm Y Splitter to connect two solar panels to my Jackery solar generator, hoping it’d boost charging efficiency for off-grid use. The idea is solid: one male 8mm plug splits into two female 8mm ports, perfect for linking multiple panels. The build quality seemed decent too—14-gauge wire felt sturdy, and the 29-inch length gave some flexibility for setup. Sadly, it didn’t work with my Jackery. The male 8mm plug wouldn’t seat properly into the generator’s input port—too loose and no solid connection. I double-checked compatibility since it’s marketed for Jackery and Goal Zero, but it just wouldn’t cooperate. I even tried wiggling it and applying gentle pressure, but no power came through. For comparison, my Jackery panels’ native cables plug in snugly and charge without issue, so I’m guessing the splitter’s connector design is slightly off for my model (Explorer 500, for reference). It’s a shame because the concept is great, and it might work flawlessly with other setups—like Goal Zero, as some reviews suggest. But for my Jackery, it was a no-go, and I had to return it. I’d give it 2 stars: one for the sturdy build and one for the idea, but I can’t recommend it for Jackery users unless you’re sure your specific model plays nice with it. Double-check compatibility before buying! ... show more
