it does work, it has decent force as shown in the photo, both on the neck and the upper trap. Here are the problems: 1. It only targets small section of the upper trap. Just the top 1 inch of the upper trap, muscle spasms usually located lower upper trap, or the area closer to the neck, but this machine manages to avoid these areas and targets the muscles that does not have knots. 2. extremely efficient at massaging neck muscles, if you put your force on it, and that's the problem. You're putting forces on your neck, it's suppose to be a relaxing experience, but you get tense up and tired due to the force. You can fix this by lying down. Overall, if you are looking at this product because you want to get rid of muscle spasms. Please don't, get a expensive massage chair, or go to a massage therapist. This is not going to help you.

I LOVE this massager! I have a recurring pain in my neck that I was needing to find a home massager that would help me find relief. I had my doubts when I purchased, but this one is great. I prefer deep tissue massages, and I did not think I could find a neck massager that would be strong enough. But this product is what I needed. I use it every night. It has easy-to-use buttons, and multiple speeds. It came charged a bit, so I could try it out as soon as I pulled it out of the box! It massages on both sides of the neck, as well as behind the shoulders where I tend to carry a lot of my tension. Highly recommend. It also has a zipper cover for easy removal for cleaning. I haven't tried that yet, but it looks to be very simple. I would buy this again! And I would buy it as a gift for others!

After a long workout/long day at work this is perfect to massage your neck/shoulders! It is easy to use, comes charged, and a cord that you can also plug it into to charge! It is not super bulky so easy to keep stored away when not in use! Definitely going to be buying this as a Christmas gift this season!

This neck massager was so easy to use. I took it out of the box and immediately charged it. I love that it's the same charger my phone uses. It sits comfortably on my neck and upper back. When I turned it on, it immediately started massaging my skin and helped reduce the tension which I always carry in my shoulders and traps. It was reasonably priced and well worth the money.
