Pretty chintzy little ukulele. I guess for beginners it's not that bad. The strings were all extremely loose when it came. The digital tuner doesn't work the greatest either. Not bad for 30$ I guess but I think I was expecting a little more .

Nice little ukulele. I can't say for sure the quality since I've never had another one to compare it to. My son messed up 2 of the strings within a couple of days. He might have been a little too rough on them. I'm researching on how to fix the strings. It is nice that it came with extra strings and a tuner. I'll updatey review once we get it fixed and tuned! I would say a good starter ukulele or for kids since the price is really good.

It's not designed to be a concert level instrument, but for someone who just wants to play with it or even learn how to play it's pretty much perfect! This ukelele comes with everything a budding musician needs, including the bag, picks, extra string and even a tuner! My adult son taught himself to play the guitar, and he was really excited to get this little ukelele for Christmas - and he absolutely loves it! It's obviously designed for beginners, but it is perfect for the job! It's priced right, decent quality, and a good value. I would absolutely recommend this cute little ukelele!

This beginner ukulele is so cute in red. I was excited to give it a try. Soprano ukuleles are small, but it still might surprise you when you hold it and try to play. This set come with what you need to get started. The gig bag is a basic black bag with no padding or structure, but will provide some protection. The tuner works ok. I found it takes a bit longer to find the correct key compared to when I tune a guitar. I had to search for the keys to tune each string online and found an audible ukulele tuner where you can tune to their sound. I needed both to make sure the sound was correct or songs sounded a bit off. I stretched the strings as recommended multiple times, but I found I have to tune this every time I pick it back up, and sometimes in the middle of trying to play. This may be frustrating for some kids when trying to learn. It is for me. I think I will pick up a concerto ukulele that is a bit larger and more consistent when trying to learn to play.

You can't go wrong with his Ukulele set at the price of $36. It's got everything you'd need to learn and practice the ukulele with, including spare strings, picks and the travel bag. The tuner comes with a battery (not installed) and the instrument is well built. However, it's in between a very high quality toy, or a very cheap quality instrument. It's not to say the product is bad, because it's priced right in the sweet spot to be great deal for either way you feel about the ukulele. It's definitely an instrument and it has the resonance of a product that was made to make music with. This is perfect for beginners learning how to play (children or adults alike), or a good practice/travel ukulele for those that have experience playing. The big negative (and the reason it can feel like a very high quality toy) is that the strings are very hard to maintain tuned. They're super stretchy and keep expanding throughout the days and weeks. I've had this ukulele for about 3 weeks now and I am still having to fine tune it (tighten) each time I want to play with it. Regardless, it's still a great instrument and I have no strong complaints about it. Again, it's only because it costs $36.
