the colors of the ukulele is very bright and beautiful. the same as the description. I wouldn't call it a professional instruments, but it's a good beginner uku, it much better than just a toy. and it's well made. as to the strings, it used good quality nylon strings. it may not tuning before packing, so it is loose. but the new ukulele always need to be tuning before playing. so i don't mind this. I'm very glad that the seller also send a digital tuner. it has battery in it. I installed the battery in the tuner. it is very easy to use. I like the tuner; it is preset for bass, guitar, ukulele, chromatic, and wind instruments. acturally,it has a great tone, holds a tune as well as any string instrument should. I've seen a few reviews saying it doesn't hold a tune, but after a few days it should. it takes a few days for the strings to stretch out ! my little daughter love it very much. the package also including a cotton bag, a spare string and a picks. she can carry to anywhere she want. Definitely worth it! it is perfect for my 7 year litter girl. so I strong recommend to buy if you are a beginner of string instruments player or you are selecting a beginner ukulele for your kids.

As with any instrument, it takes a few tunings with new strings and instrument, to get it "tuned up" and to convince it to stay in tune for at least the play session. We purchased this instrument for both me and my granddaughter to learn to play. It's tiny, just right for her 3yo frame. And the sound isn't bad, considering the price. But it took forever to "tune up." Time after time, day after day, week after week, until now, months later, it finally seems to hold a tune. The tuner that came with it had no instructions, making it tough to use. 4 modes...? What to use? I gave up on it. The wipe down cloth was a nice touch; she loves to clean it before she puts it away. And the case is perfect; she can carry it around on her back. Thanks for this great starter instrument, and the cute purple color really made her happy!

This is a cute little ukelele. We liked all the colorful options, and it had decent reviews. The price point was also nice, since we purchased as a beginner ukelele for an 11-year-old. The ukelele is not staying in tune, but apparently that is normal for a new instrument. We plan to keep it for a couple week and hope the strings stretch and settle and begin to hold their tune better. Other than that, it seems to be a good quality uke at a reasonable price for a young beginner.
