I've done photography for more than 50 yrs. Back in the day I used the canon A1 with power winder for film mostly kodachrome 64 slides but in the past few yrs now I own 2 somy A7IV cameras work wonderful ( but definitely do not doing the 6.o1 update) unless you want you're camera bricked cost me $1189.00 to have it repaired but now to the siny 18-105 mm lens i have 2 one for each camera this is totally my most used go to lens excellent wonderful to have the power zoom fantastic feature, definitely by this lens whether your a professional photographer like me on new to the digital cameras I prefer sony but just my opinion works best for me, but just wanted to leave this review for others who mite be looking for a really easy to use zoom lens by it you'll be more than happy, ... show more

Incredible lens for the money, I have used it extensively for both photo and video and the range and versatility is awesome. Even with several lenses in my arsenal, I find myself with this on my camera most often. For the price you won’t find better image quality.

My son and I both have a passion for photography. He just turned 20 and had a Sony mirrorless camera base he saved all his money for to buy, but no lens. For Christmas I bought him the lens he needed to help his photography take off (for years he’s borrowed my Nikon. We went out exploring on Morris Island, SC to photo shoot together. This is a perfect travel lens as it’s a 18-105mm you have a nice wide angle and can zoom pretty far, it’s a constant F4 aperture so it won’t give a lot of bokeh effect unless you zoom to 50mm or higher that’s usually where I see it give a pretty nice amount of bokeh, it’s an all around good lens for the price especially being renewed, this one works like new haven’t had any issues with it yet ... show more
