I love every visit with Lila and her family; they're always so welcoming and ready to feed you. The mystery was way more complex than I had originally expected and I had no idea who the murderer was until the big reveal. The Christmas setting was an added bonus. I love a good cozy mystery and I thought this was such a fun ride. I def thinking about trying out some of the crispers in the book . I can’t wait for book number 4

    • This book got me to read again!
It's been awhile since I wanted to read a book. I bought this almost a year ago and only recently decided to give it a shot while on the plane. I couldn't put it down and immediately bought the rest of the series. Initially, I bought the book because of the cover and a few folks recommended it. I'm not really into murder mystery stories, but the title caught my eye. The book does feel pretty niche, but I honestly loved seeing so much of myself and my family throughout the story. I love the Tita Rosie books. This one had the compelling conflict of long-lost cousin who has been referenced in past books coming back. I adore the series and this one is as strong as the preceding books.
