Directions as to how to connect the dvd player to a TV are inadequate and misleading. You need a second power cord as specified but it doesn't tell you what jacks to use. You need the second power cord to connect Pb and Pr. This connection provides color. The red, white, yellow power cord that comes with the player is connected to the TV thusly:: white to left audio in, red to right audio in, and yellow to video in. This is a great product-I had my original for 9+ yrs, but there was an incident with a houseguest & it was accidentally damaged,. I wanted the same Make /Model from Sony. It’s well made, compact & works perfectly! Amazon was my go to for replacement! New one came well pkgd & faster than expected!!
