    • Ate a disc and will play nothing else
The media could not be loaded. This machine worked great! Until it ate a disc and now will play nothing else. When I try to eject, an empty tray comes out. Try to load another dvd in and it attempts to jam the tray back into the other stuck dvd and damages the disc. Now I’m out a dvd player and a dvd. See video. ... show more

    • Home recorded dvd may not work
First test, not all home recorded dvds didn’t work, most did. SD card reader, I have three different game cameras and one was not viewable . Price is good. Overall, I’m a little disappointed with the SD reader.

PRO： This DVD player looks great and high-end with the metal case in black. With dual mic jacks, even a rotary button to adjust the volume which is practical but rarely found in other‘s. The SD card port is pretty obvious at the righthand side of the device…and the USB input is at the front It also came with HDMI and RCA cables, that is very thoughtful, even though our TV only needs HDMI. After installing the machine, my husband immediately asked to see his new DVDs from Europe. He likes to collect movie dvds from all over the world, the feature of multi-region and different language subtitles of this dvd player meet his needs perfectly, no need to spend more. The user-friendly remote control is a plus, it’s larger than the previous one so it's not easy to press the wrong key especially for elder like my mom. BTW, when I received it was surprised by its packaging, the package box is beautiful and good quality, like receiving a gift! CON： A little expensive but worth it as it looks good and has all functions we need. We bought two mics and planned to use it at the family party last week but the delivery was a little slow, so failed. My biggest concern is that I'm not sure the product life. The unit is very easy to set up and use. We bought it for playing CD tracks when we go out to perform. And yes, it does play CD&G disks. So it does the job adequately for that. It's not a high definition player, but to the untrained ear, it does the job. As for DVD playing, the graphics are less than acceptable. If you don't care how your picture looks, then go for it. But it's not something to buy if you like excellent picture quality. Thank goodness we didn't buy it for the DVD. Other than that, it works great so far, and it's easy to use. We like it because there is a fast forward button on the player itself rather than having to rely on the remote. It's also small and lightweight. ... show more

So far so good with this DVD player. It have played all my old and scratched up dad's. I've only had it a couple of weeks but it's worked well so far. Picture and sound quality is also great.
