This dvd player comes with remote and hdmi OR old school RCA cables......remote works fine and have no complaints about playback quality. Seems alright to recommend...very small and sleek (thats what you want in an old school dvd player) male sure you get one that comes with correct cables for your tv....other than that great buy.

I needed a new DVD player because my old one didn't connect to my new smart TV. I like to get movies on discs from the library. It was packaged very securely and very easy to connect and played perfectly.

Not a good quality. Bought for a Christmas present, it was used once or twice a week, and stored in a cabinet between uses. Worked fine for the first 8-10 plays and now it's not working. The tray opens and closes over and over and won't read a DVD as it doesn't stay closed long enough to catch. Tried unplugging to reset but that did nothing. It's still clean and spotless but gently blew out the tray to ensure no debris was in the way, still won't work. We used it less than two months before it quit working. Of course, we're beyond the return window so money wasted.

This is a great little DVD player! It was easy to hook up and is simple to operate. I have 3 young kids and they can all operate it with the buttons on the machine as well as the remote that came with it. Also, their customer service is very prompt to reply and friendly.

I've had this player less than a year.. it's actually in a spare bedroom so it's only been used a handful of times.. and no longer reads discs even brand new discs that play perfectly fine and other players... Movies will not load or if they do it freezes the entire unit and will throw a code ... Update I contacted the company and they sent a reply after some trouble shooting and multiple back and forth emails they agreed to send me a replacement system. I've used it a couple times it's a slightly different system so I'm going to assume they did a few changes to the system... I would give it a 5 star but I'm hesitant since I've only used it a couple times and the first system broke after just a few uses so far so good tho I really appreciate the customer service willing to help me and try to right this situation.

It was obvious that the makers of this device are not fluent and proficient in the English language. Especially bothersome is that certain key information, such as the required video format for playing videos from a USB is not clearly explained anywhere. It does not appear that Amazon permits a purchaser to send a question to the manufacturer, the only way found on the site is to contact customer service (and I doubt they know the details of questions like mine on video format for USB files. I did not try this route, because I managed to convert my .MP4 file to a .VOB file, and this was a solution that made me decide to keep the device and not return it.
