Physical media remains the best way to watch movies at home for a variety of reasons -- you own the disc, it can't be changed, you don't need to 'unlock' it at whatever retailer you bought it, etc. If you've built up a DVD and/or Blu-Ray library and need a new player, this Sony is a terrific option. It's small but works quickly, loads discs without a hitch, and looks great too. It's not 4K upscaling but you don't need that necessarily -- if you have a 4K TV the set can do it natively, so the 1080p output of the Sony player gives the most natural and accurate signal to the source. The player is also good playing back MKV or some other formats that many players are not compatible with. Overall for the price this one's a keeper! ... show more

Easy and quick set up, as expected. Upon receiving and initial setup, I put it through it's paces and it performed well. Great Blu-ray picture and easy screen mirroring set up using my Samsung phone.
