Its apparently difficult to buy a well made small fountain submersible pump. This one works well so far but I think the cable won't last long outside since it's just thin lamp cord. That said this pump is putting out more water (400gph) than my previous pump did and it's supposed to work even if the water level gets too low which it will each day.
