I am so happy I bought this bath chair! An older woman who is filled with arthritis, and with three artificial joints (both knees, and one hip) I could not use my bathtub for years. I was limited to a shower, which, if you're older, you understand that can be a bit dangerous. I saw this bath chair and decided to give it a try, even though it was not inexpensive. Not only is it very sturdy, it is very comfortable and makes getting in and out of my bathtub extremely easy. Sometimes I use it just as a shower chair, meaning I let it stay up as I turn on my shower. Other times, I use it to go all the way down in the bathtub and soak. It is extremely reliable, and when the control needed to be recharged, it let me know, and I was able to recharge it very quickly, and now it is working again wonderfully. I love this bath chair and would highly recommend it to anyone not only for convenience, but for Comfort and for safety.

This product works as described and has just improved my 90yr old Aunt's quality of life 10 fold!! She has a traditional tub in her apartment, and loves a bath. She hasn't been able to get up and out of the tub for several years, but has been longing to take a bath again. A tub with a door was cost prohibitive, even if her apartment complex would have allowed us to replace her current tub. After a little research to figure out a way for my Aunt to bathe again, I found this electric shower chair. I immediately ordered it, and my aunt is in 7th heaven!! It was easy to install and is simple to operate. It gets close to the bottom of the tub (sits up about 2 or 3 inches from the bottom), but she can recline back and be almost fully submerged. Yet she is comfortable knowing the mechanism will get her back into a sitting position then lift her so she can pivot on the seat and swing her legs over the edge of the tub safely to get out. The side arms of the seat are a big help to stabilize her as she gets up. All so well thought out! Her aides turn it around in the tub with the back toward the shower head, and recline it to wash my aunt's hair in a more relaxed position using the handheld shower wand. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys a bath, but struggles with getting in and out, or requires assistance in the bath or shower.

I bought this chair so that my mom could take baths (instead of showers) again without the fear of getting stuck in the tub. This chair is working perfectly! She weighs about 130 lbs and it goes up and down well for her. She has been using it only a couple of weeks, but loves it! There are 6 suction cups on the bottom, which I felt better about than the four on others, and it reclines as she goes down. Other notes: There is not an option to go down without reclining, but she does not see a need for that. Secondly, the connection n the cord to the remote does not have a place to hang on the chair, so we ran the cord through the headrest. I just felt better about it not being in the water. We also hung a command hook on the outside of the tub, so she has a place to hang the remote.

Was just what my mom needed to help with taking a bath. Solved issues with getting in and out of the tub. Proper setup in the tub is important to prevent falling. Does require someone to press the buttons to lower and raise the chair. Unfortunately most caregiver services would not do. Plus it's heavy so most won't move it once setup. Still a perfect tool. Truly a bath buddy for my mom. Else she would have to take a shower which she doesn't like taking a shower

I love it I can finally take a bath and what I like about it is it goes all the way down to the bottom of the tub. I have a Roman tub and I just love taking a bath and I couldn’t get out of the bathtub because of my knees, and now I get out very easily. It works perfectly, it’s excellent. I would recommend this to anyone and the price was wonderful compared to so many others I had seen. I have been checking for over a year and didn’t think I could afford one until I saw this. It’s wonderful for the money and it’s wonderful for what it is .

The bathlyft is a game changer. I broke a wrist and tore my MCL in my knee. I love baths but there is no way for me to raise or lower myself in the tub while I am healing. It is great to be able to soak in a tub and being able to lower and raise myself out without help via the bathlyft. The bathlyft has stability, lifts my weight easily, true quality and a value for the money. I wish this product was around when my Aunt wished she could have had a bath safely that she wanted 10 years ago. She would have loved it.

I have a disabled son who is unable to support himself in the trunk and I was really hoping that this chair would work. However because it sits to a 90° angle before it raises it made it very difficult to hold him on the chair while raising it up.. and with it floating it made it almost impossible and therefore very unsafe. The chair says it will accommodate several hundred pounds however it did not! my son is just a little bit over a hundred pounds and the last time I tried to use it something snapped in the back I returned it because it said it was guaranteed and returnable within the first 30 days however they kept over $130 for quotes restocking because it was unsellable I was very disappointed in this product and the way my return was handled.
