First of all, we should definitely get this out here. This is a smoke… Less not a smokeless fire pit. There is definitely smoking involved whenever you stir or stoke or add wood to the fire enough so you will need to take a shower to not smell like a fire when you come in With that being said during the burning time of the wood, it is almost smokeless and very pleasant to be around. I will say do not take this on a camping trip on a cold cold night thinking this will keep you warm. It will not the radiant heat is only about a foot or so from the pit. whatever fuel you decide to use make sure it’s small. I started the fire extremely easily with just a few small limbs and built up to small split logs about eight or 9 inches long anything more than that and it would be extremely awkward the fireplace does a very efficient job of burning the wood and handling the smoke as mentioned before as long as there is no molestation of the fire on a 42° night I had to stay around 8 to 10 inches from the fireplace to fill any sort of heat at all now that being said this with this accessories would be great for putting the little grill on there and cooking a meal or sitting out on a cool evening and roasting weenies or marshmallows or making s’mores I definitely see this being a novelty item. so finally, I give this four stars. It looks very well. It is easy to assemble, but there is no value for your money at all with this or any of the accessories sold with it and the heat output for me is completely not worth the money unless you’re just trying to enjoy burning some wood on a 60° evening

This was a replacement for my basic pan fire pit which got too smokey. This is so much better in many ways. I haven't used it on a windy day yet but it is smokeless. It burns so well, easy to start and new logs catch so quickly. The flames are higher so my whole body gets warmed not just my legs. The chamber is smaller so I will have to cut my fireplace logs in half but fine. The ash tray should be wider but I'll deal with that. It burns so well. All ashes when done. No unburnt ends. I recommend.

Of course its easy to put together, but I was surprised at the amount of heat something so compact puts out. It was virtually smokeless and I can store it easily in my camper to use at festivals. The only downside is the wood has to be small to burn in such a compact fire pit.
