  • A great addition for your back yard
Size: Mesa XL Color: Gunmetal
The media could not be loaded. I really like this little fire pit. It's easy to start, maintain, and it puts off a lot of heat if you get the diffuser. The kids love roasting marshmallows, and it helps set the mood when I'm barbecuing for date night. I primarily use wood pellets and isopropyl alcohol to start it, and keep a bin of pellets and a metal spoon to keep it going as needed. If you fill it up to the top, it goes for about 40 minutes. I have learned the hard way that you need to empty it after every use. If the holes on the bottom are covered, the fire will be starved for oxygen, and it will not function well. If you just do that one thing, you have a relatively smokeless fire with unique flames due to its design. It's small, convenient, and well-made. I highly recommend. ... show more

  • Perfect for Cozy Outdoor Nights!
Size: Mesa XL Color: Stainless Steel
I got the Solo Stove Mesa XL for my husband, and it’s been an absolute game changer for our outdoor space! This smokeless fire pit is perfect for intimate gatherings or just enjoying a quiet evening outside. It’s compact, yet powerful, and the stainless steel build feels very durable and high quality. We’ve used it for a few outdoor sessions already, and it’s been amazing. The flames are mesmerizing, and it keeps the area warm without all the smoke you usually get with traditional fire pits. It’s also super easy to set up and clean. We love the 7-inch tabletop design, which makes it easy to place on our patio or even take on camping trips. If you’re looking for a stylish, portable fire pit that provides warmth without the smoke, this is the one! My husband is thrilled with it, and we’ve been enjoying it every chance we get. ... show more

  • Great clean burn, safe for small areas, portable
Size: Mesa XL Color: Deep Olive
Love this little stove, works great burns very clean, the lower outer part is somewhat cool to the touch and very stable legs, it can be used in different setting and it is very portable, it can be used in small patios or yards. Specially those that were you cannot have fire pits, it is very stylish, and we are enjoying it immensely, we have been making s’mores with the kiddos, even in hot weather you can use as it doesn’t make it feel too hot. We have left is outside for days and so far we have not seen any rust, and after many burns the outside is still looking great. ... show more

  • I LOVE this!
Size: Mesa XL Color: Mulberry
I love this! It's the perfect table top fire pit. The construction is top notch. No "assembly" required really, it's pretty much ready to go. It burns very efficiently. It's incredibly safe - I put it in a one inch thick piece of marble for safety, and have touched the marble while the Mesa is going full bore and it's cool directly under it... AMAZING Cleanup is also incredibly easy as the pit burns so efficiently there's usually nothing left. I'm VERY happy with this purchase! ... show more

  • Not smokeless. Not a lot of heat. Not much room for wood.
Size: Mesa XL Color: Stainless Steel
The media could not be loaded. I bought the Mesa XL because I miss having a fire on my deck. We have big Solo Stove and love it so I thought I’d give this a try. It’s not great but I do like it after learning a few tricks. First: don’t use pellets. It just creates a LOT of smoke. Second: use smaller pieces of wood. I ordered a box of oak just to try it. They burn great but great large coals and fill up the stove pretty fast. But they work. Third: remove the ring. The ring seems to make it smoke more. Fourth: you’re not supposed to stack above the air holes but it’s hard not to since the wood chunks are big. Again, this is why you should leave the ring off. Fifth: don’t stack the wood. Always teepee the wood. This keeps the air flowing and the smoke down. Sixth: if you’re looking for warmth, get the big Solo Stove. This radiates a little heat but once the sun goes down it won’t keep you warm. But it does put off some heat. It’s not 100% smokeless. But neither is my large Solo, especially if you like big fire, which we do. But it’s a great addition to my deck while relaxing in the evening or having dinner. I think Solo Stove should make an even bigger one that goes in a table. The same height only wider.. That would be perfect. ... show more

  • great flame
Size: Mesa XL Color: Stainless Steel
Great little fire pit. Doesn't throw out a lot of heat near it, but does provide a nice fire. Good for wiener or smores cooking. I used wood pellets, and full load lasted close to an hour.

  • Really pretty, great flame
Size: Mesa XL Color: Mulberry
This burns beautifully with a dancing flame that's fun to watch. It smokes like a normal wood fire until the firepit heats up and the secondary burn gets going. Then the smoke is minimal and mostly carried upwards by the strong updraft. The heat mostly goes up, not out, so it's more for ambiance than warmth. It's possible putting it lower or using the heat deflector will make it warmer. The stand and bottom stay cool to the touch so it seems pretty safe to put on most surfaces. Like any wood fire it can pop and put out small embers so don't leave it unattended. Be careful to keep kids and pets away from the sides because the stove gets very hot above the bottom intake holes. I got maybe 1/2 hour out of the first few pieces of wood, and it's easy to add more. With the relatively short burn time, I don't feel stuck waiting for the fire to go out like with a big fire pit. ... show more

  • Good size, initial flames about two feet high
Size: Mesa XL Color: Mulberry
Burns great. Tall Bright flames, good duration (45 minutes?), very low smoke, clean, little ash. Using the treated wood pellets. Very convenient, chemical smell when you open the bag...no smell when burning (although I wouldn't roast a hot dog or marsh mallow over these pellets). I had a specific use in mind. At 5:30 AM I take a 20 oz pot of hot black coffee (dark Roast Graffeo from SF) to the back porch. Light up a big Castello Briar Pipe full with either a Seattle Pipe Club blend (Potlatch), an HH Burley, or a G.L. Pease like Westminster. Start the fire, light the pipe, drink the coffee, listen to the coyotes in the creekbed just before dawn, enjoy the rocking chair. You get the idea. WH ... show more
