It is a sap filled hard wood that burns quicker than that of a hardwood like oak or maple, so it is a good ‘starter’ wood. Every time we have ordered we got less wood then the 6 to 8 logs they said. When we order directly from Solo we get the right amount. I don't understand seeing that Solo is the one who sells and ships it. Juniper smells good.

The wood burns great, can fit well in undersized condo fireplaces, and the juniper has a light but pleasant smell, but I thought there would be more wood in the box. If they doubled the amount of wood or halved the price I would be putting up a five-star review.

I don’t have any stores that sell firewood for my fire pit on my back patio nearby. So I was thrilled when I found this seller on Amazon. Like I said, I’m a multiple times repeat customer and will continue to be! I just love the convenience of ordering my box of firewood online and it’s delivered in a few days! Plus, all of the pieces are nice and thick logs that fit perfectly in my fire pit and burn a very long time too! I buy fire starting sticks here on Amazon for cheap as I can rest assure that this seller is going to send me a jam-packed box of nothing but quality burning log’s. Trust me, I made the mistake of buying from another seller once and I received a box of 3 medium sized logs with a handful of kindling sticks that looked like he picked them up from his backyard and the box still wasn’t full, it had newspaper stuffed into it! I immediately came back to this seller and haven’t left. My husband and I love our weekend cocktails outside next to the fire pit and we will keep coming back here as long as this seller keeps selling firewood!

I was hesitant at first to order this as the cost of the wood is twice as expensive as the fire wood I can get from my local Home Depot. This fire wood burned amazing and the different sizes logs make for the best fire burning. The wood smelled amazing which was a plus!
