Worked great in the US, connnected easily to 2 devices. I will use it in my RV. Also worked well in Patagonia wherever there was signal. Worked in Santiago and Punta Arenas, Chile, connected seamlessly whenever I left my hotel. I put my phone in airplane mode the whole trip and turned on wifi calling. No trouble and kept my same number so I didn’t have to mess with a sim card. It did lose signal out on the Magellan Straits (!) but I imagine so did everything. I just turned it off to save battery until back on dry land. The cell phone battery does run down a bit more quickly when connected, but it doesn’t overheat. I carry a charger with me at all times. My phone was burning battery really fast on my US cell plan in Santiago and also heated up to where it shut itself off to cool down. Once the phone cooled down I switched to airplane mode, connected to the Solis and that solved all my problems. I am using GPS, internet searches, uploading photos and sending texts with photo attachments, doing email, etc. Using less than 1/2 GB data per day. In the evening I switch to the hotel wifi.     • The best pocket WiFi
I recently went to Tokyo recently and Solis was a life saver. It is the best thing ever. I never lost service and the WiFi is so fast, reliable and it kept charge for my whole day which we were out and about for about 10 hours. It’s small and can fit in your purse. Im so happy with this purchase.

    • No customer support. AI at its finest
She your account up but it will still lock you out and tell you to get “agent assist” to get access. Urges you to sign up and buy a plan, I got 5gb, but it tells me I have 1 bg on the screen to last for 99 years. No customer service. No ability to have my own account without having to bypass. The point of this was to put it on my laptop. It had a QR code so I made the account on my phone, but I can’t get this installed on my computer. I do not need hot spot on my phone that has hot spot. This is AI BS at its finest. Thank God I paid with a credit card because I’m getting all my money back, including paying for five gb that I never got. ... show more

Had power outage yesterday 8/15/26 for 3 hrs. Knocked out Spectrum service (landline, internet, cable) until the following morning. T-Mobile cell phone service was very erratic coz it cud not get a good signal in my apt. Simo saved the day! Was able to connect to internet to continue working and watch Spectrum TV on my laptop while being connected thru Simo. ... show more

    • I recently traveled out of the country. This device is amazing!
I recently visited my home country and for the first time, rented a vehicle there. Had it not being for this hotspot device I would've been stuck listening to local radio during long 3 hour trips. The main reason why I bought this device is so that I could listen to my music at anytime, specially during those long drives around the country.. My wife and I went through Italy, Turkey and Greece and the SOLIS EDGE worked GREAT!! The device picked up the signal quickly and we were navigating our way through the streets of Rome and Athens with confidence.
