Milk Thistle is great for the liver and that was the whole reason I bought this product! I am the type of shopper who researches a product extensively and reads all the reviews I can possibly find before making my purchase, and after some time this was my decision. Why? Well, for one it's vegetarian and the company Solgar has never disappointed me in the countless products I've purchased from them. Also, these capsules didn't cause any discomfort for me and it was easy for me to take daily. Now as far as how the product has worked, I would say I genuinely felt a positive difference in two things, my eye health and my energy while exercising. I have not taken this product for a few months and I will purchase it again very soon.

I have used this for awhile. I have had a liver transplant in 2001. I was told I had stage 2 fibrosis in 2018. In 2021 there was no fibrosis found.

I used to use Solgars and liked their vitamins but then when I started buying my vitamins elsewhere they didn't carry that product. I found it again on Amazon at a good price and will be getting it here. Another brand I tried had a foul smell and I was told it was supposed to smell bad. WHen I realized it smelled like a mouse had died in the bottle I ordered the Solgar which smelled fine. I take it because I had a fatty liver. My #s are now o.k. so I am sticking with it. Dr. Oz had said on his program that Milk THistle is one of the few herbs out there that has been proven to effectivly help the liver. I know it has helped mine.

Package arrived in short time (2days) was in good condition, bottle was wrapped with bubble sheet, seal was on it properly. I used Solgar milk thistle before since I had fatty liver. I felt better and less tired. If you want to compare the effect of it, you need to have tests that show enzymes of liver before and after using milk thistle.
